Yep, that's what I'm thinking. Never had one before, do wheels or other parts stain easily, where the dirt/grass stains won't wash off? That's my only concern.

Bought this at a play it again sports for $50 because it was rusted so I cleaned it up and did a gun blue on it

Well, the listing had these as 3-E 2003 model Hogan's.

I took the chance and pulled the trigger because I think they are actually '99 Hogan Apex's...with Apex 4 shafts.

Turns out these were a set of like new 2003 Hogan Apex 50's, all original. I played these beauties last weekend stock and they felt great. I had to lengthen them a tad and re-gripped them all. Finished them last night for tomorrow's round.

 

Edit 2: Played three rounds with these and I found that even though I hit many shots pure, the slight misses were more than I wanted to deal with given the state of my game right now. The added distance and forgiveness of my Cobra's meant a few more birdie attempts per round. These will make a great back up set or for when I break out my persimmons a few times a year!

I wasn’t really sure where to post this and it didn’t seem like it should have its own thread, but I’ve never seen this happen before and I thought it was kinda funny. This thread seems like the most appropriate place fore it.

 

I was at the range yesterday and noticed the guy beside me had a nice set of Ping irons and the same TMB 3 Iron as I have. Being a typical WRXer I wanted to ask him how he liked it as this was my first time hitting mine outdoors but I didn’t because I don’t know the guy and I didn’t wanna bother him. Well I got my answer today lol. I was just scrolling through the local Kijiji golf ads and saw his whole bag of clubs for sale already, so clearly he didn’t like them haha. Maybe he’s a WRXer too! :)

 

But it’s a “fairway finder”...why would he sell it??? ?

Purchased this off of the Bay and I can see why people like the V-Steel so much it looks great at address with a slightly open face from what I can see. I really only purchased this for the shaft the Grafalloy Blue Tour X. Does anyone have any specs on this shaft?

Got this TEE XCG6 in excellent condition today for $54.

 

Not knowing much about the many models of TEE woods I looked it up when I got home. It is in excellent condition because it was probably refinished to a matte black. I noticed the serial number looked like it was painted over, but I can still see the numbers so that’s what prompted me to research. However, they did a great job on it and it looks like it is supposed to be that color.
