Not a problem at all. As long as the putter is a stainless/aluminum putter they can go to that finish where as the carbon will rust over time of course if the metal is left raw.

Hey everyone. Wanted to show you a couple clubs we just finished up. First is a oldie but goodie in the bullseye putter that we did a light milling on the face. The second is a Titleist driver with did the orange with black stripes. Hope everyone has a great weekend and as always feel free to message me with any questions.

I'm going to guess that it isn't, but is it possible to turn this Odyssey into something that looks like this Ping? I really want to change up my Odyssey, but can't figure out what to do. I LOVE those Pings. Could I see a few examples of what you can do to putters like mine?

I don't believe there are any pictures of iron refinishing in this thread so I thought it best to leave a few photos. I have had heads stripped to raw carbon and they've turned out great, but this was a different project.

 

The first are pictures of a Hogan Apex head that I asked to have blasted with Aluminum Oxide to remove browning on the faces. I've also included a picture of a Hogan Apex Plus head so you could compare the chrome to the new finish. I took the clubs for a spin this morning and they have already started to develop a handsome patina.

 

 

 

Here is a picture taken before the heads were sent to C.G.

 

 

 

The second image is of a Hogan 'Redline' head. I wanted the entire face blasted as there was wear out near the toes when I acquired them and a bit of chrome loss. The rest of the heads were left chrome. Once again, the faces will develop a patina.

 

 

 

So pleased with the results. Simply flawless. Thank you to J and the crew.

Normal Refinishing for 1 color putters painted is 60 dollars plus the shipping back to you but we don't have any inserts we can put back in the putter. Sorry about that

Love the irons! Any chance you could post a pic or two of the completely stripped ones for those of us who list for raw irons? Also, Continental, what do you charge for stripping a set of iron heads? Couldn't seem to find it on your website. Thanks!

Here are a few pictures of a raw VIP head that I had stripped, refinished and left in a satin as it left the shop floor. When I get a chance I'll shoot pictures with paint fill and a few months of play. They look really cool.

 

I believe I was in for $30 a head when all was done. They look brand new as all chatter and dings are gone. A perfect choice for a favourite set or an inexpensive find. I believe we lost 2 - 4 grams on each head.

 

 

 

 

Here are a few pictures after seeing some on course action. The 7 iron was on course once and the 9 iron off and on for a few months. I wipe the heads after each shot, but you can see a few drops of water remained in the 7 iron cavity. When it's really humid in the morning I can watch rust spots form on the heads. I'm a big fan of the look and they are utilitarian.

One quick question. Did it come in shafted? If so, did you pull the pinned shaft for the refurb?

Fella, we still do hickory resets and have a few shafts left in stock. On the refinishing though we leave it together and just do it as two separate phases.

 

RT, yes you are looking at 30 dollars per head for the stripping/refinishing of an iron.

I have this old Scotty teryllium Newport 2 that I took the finish off after it rusted. Want to bring it back to black and bronze/gold color scheme. Only problem is this ding(see pic). Can anything be done with that?
