I have not seen any corroboration that he was thrown out of a car. Allenby said that the homeless woman saw him thrown out of a car but I don't think she said that happened in any interviews.

It would make sense that a homeless person lifted his wallet while he was passed out. Buying a couple of bottles of booze with the credit card is consistent with that kind of scenario, but it's not consistent with the "Taken" scenario that Allenby keeps talking about.

Maybe. But would he remember that his injuries happened after he woke up and was talking to the (presumed innocent) homeless guy? According to reports the homeless man said he had no injuries until he fell down again.

I think Allenby may remember that - unless he is one of THOSE drunks - which it appears he might be.

On the very day the story broke, January 17th, I said it's certainly possible his story is not accurate. It was one of my first posts. The next day I said "I don't know what happened. There is the possibility that some nefarious activity on the part of Allenby occurred. I'm just not going to presume to think that happened just yet without any actual evidence to support it." I think this is still the way to think about Allenby's crazy night.
