Did you like the regular better than the Fly pro?

 

Haha I wish. I went with the fly hoping I could use the additional forgiveness since my typical miss is low on the face. Plus the last few years I kept chasing the deep faced/low spin heads and it never worked for me long term so this year I'm going with the non-pro heads.

 

The pro feels and sounds solid though.

 

I may just buy fly head only.

 

Try it out.

 

I think you'll be pleasantly surprised and way better than the speed from last year (shape and performance). I only wish it had the pro's thwack sound/feel to it.

PXi 6.0. Liked it at first, but now I don't. Launches too high.

 

Probably going to get project X rifle next set in the future.

Good idea. I use PX 6.5s in my pro combo. Great flight.

Just got a brand new set of forged VR Pro Combos and two Engage wedges (58 square and 60 Toe Sweep)

 

Absolutely love the irons and wedges. Wedges are fantastic. They seem to chew up balls though. Irons feel amazing when hit flush, just as good as the Mizuno MP25s and Bridgestone J15s I tried a while back. Only draw back is off center hits come up waaaaay short.

 

Love my Cobra Fly Z so I'll probably stick with it for a while...must....avoid testing....Nike Fly....drivers.

 

I will be buying an engage gap wedge though.

I game the same irons. Have you noticed how this set of irons is shorter in length than most sets out there? Each club is about .25 inches shorter than most.

I went today and hit the Vapor Fly and the Vapor Fly Pro.

 

I found with the Vapor Fly that I just didn't like it. My problems were along the same lines as the ones I had with the Vapor Speed. I just can't hit a head that big. It all just feels way too light. I even put a heaver shaft in that they fitted me for and I was ballooning it all over the place.

 

The Fly Pro was a different story. I loved it. I also loved the Vapor Pro. The smaller head just to me, seemed a lot easier to hit. I felt I could work it a lot more. Right now I still game a Covert Tour at 9.5.

 

I should probably be gaming a driver similar to the Speed or Fly (being an 11.5 Handicap) but I just can't hit them lol. My numbers with the Vapor Pro and Fly Pro were almost identical so I think I will go back and finish getting fitted for one of those.

All the drivers you mentioned are 460 cc. The vapor Flex is 420 and the fly flex is 440.
