It really is something special ! I absolutely love my DI, but it just simply doesn't seem to fit me as good as the Tour shaft. It's a strong 2nd though.

Bought mine with the Tour 65 Stiff and liked it a lot. Picked up a Fuji Pro 63 on the BST and liked it a little better. Getting ready to put an ADDI 6S from the BST in it to test, hopefully it will be better yet! Can't say enough about the head itself though. Hitting nice mid-high trajectory bombs with just a little fade that suits me just fine! Forgiveness is great as well for a low spin head

I can't praise the forgiveness of this Driver enough. For 2 years with the SLDR I would seldom go 18 holes without chipping out from the woods or reteeing the ball. With the G30 and about 15 rounds in I think I've only done this 3-4 times. Great club.

Happiest I've been with a Driver since the Old reliable G20.

Updating my high ball issue with the 10.5. Rogue 110 70x in now after trying the Tour 60 and a 60 g UST Chrome, and had the greatest driving day I've ever had. Mid-high fades and fairways with plenty of rollout. Yes please.

love mine. put the fuel 70X in it and set it to 9.6.

Love mine, put an Aldila Tour Green in it at 44" and then added 10 grams of hot melt to get it to D4. The hot melt has taken it from ear splitting tin can to the low, muted persimmon sound and feel. Can't remember ever hitting more fairways and consistently long, and now the sound and feel is addicting.

Set to square on both the 10.5 and 9.0 versions. If you dial down loft the face will be open and opposite true if u loft up.

Have mine shafted with a kusala white 72 and I can imagine a more forgiving driver!!! May not be the longest but she ain't short either!!

I've had this driver for 2 months now and love it more and more everyday. I have never hit as many fairways as I can with this driver. I just pick my target, swing hard and watch the ball go where I want it to. Being confident with your driver is a critical part of the game and this thing gives me unbelievable confidence.

I own the 10* G30 [b]SF[/b] Tec, set to 9 degrees. I hit the ball very straight and was hoping it could help me hit more of a draw. Bottom line is that the G30 wants to go straight, which is not a bad thing! I haven't found that the SF Tec does much for my swing to promote a draw.

On the course, I launch the ball a bit too high for my liking (even with it set to 9 degrees), but don't really balloon the ball (is that from too much spin?), so I don't know if I'd benefit from the LS Tec.

I'm willing to move to the 9 degree "original G30" or the LS Tec, since Ping doesn't make a 9 degree SF Tec.

I'm a 12 handicap with a swing speed of 84 mph, if that helps.

What would you guys recommend? The original G30 or a LS Tec?

I agree! You can just put a new shaft in it with a higher kickpoint to bring the ball flight down.
