The Tour 80 would be closer, weight wise. I don't think either will feel as stout(or boardy) as the proforce v2.

Update on hitting it too high...I worked on "hitting down on it" (for me that's +3 AOA) and it beat the 8.5* 915D2 I had been testing by getting 12* of launch and 2400 spin. Now I'm looking at getting a 70g D+ and switching out of the 60g Chrome and hanging with the 10.5 head.

Project X Blue 6.5 was very consistant in its first test session. Great $100 shaft option for those looking for low launch straight shaft.

Well I just pulled the trigger on a new one with the tour shaft. I hope it lives up to the hype because I'm not a big fan of the look or sound, but if I want to be a true member of this site I need ho and find out!

Bought used 9*...fine for awhile, then couldn't keep it in the air.
Tried my sons SF TEC 12* with better results.... Then started losing distance due to way to much spin
Back to 10.5* LS today

Hope results are as expected

Picked up a G30 LS Tec off my friend shafted with the Rogue 125msi playing at 44.75"

It's the best driver I have ever played and I regret nothing LOL

At first I wasn't old on the looks but it really grows on you. Now it feels like I have Batman's driver.

What are everyone's average numbers with this driver? I typically have high spin and when I hit the G30 10.5 Tour X I was between 2700-3000 on the spin with range balls. I'm trying to decide between the standard G30 or LS Tec.

Got a little bored, and driving has been a little wayward lately, so it's obviously the equipment and not me (ok, it's me--had a lesson last night and figured out what I was doing wrong), so I went on a shaft buying binge. Current shaft is an AD BB 6x. I've had good results in the past with heavier shafts, so the three I have or are on the way are an AD BB 7x, an AD MT 7x, and a Diamana D+ 70x. Hit the MT today, set in the neutral setting (I play the BB in the small +), and initial were positive. Eager to give them all a test on Trackman and narrow a down to a couple to try on the course.

If I remember right, both 10.5, I went from 2700 to 2200 average.

Anyone else do this? When I hit a good one, now more often, my playing partners say "nice shot", etc.

I now answer with "Turbulators".

And when I get a hold of one, I just yell TURBULATORS in Hammer X fashion.

Fun snark, and I know I've sold at least one that way.

How was the swingweight? I have the same combo at 45" and it came out at D1. It's a solid setup.

Mine is also a 9* that is 3* open with a Aldila Phenom NL 80TX tipped 1 inch.

I think the Tour 65 just isn't working for me. Too much spin it seems. Was hitting my SLDR well past it today and my BCP does the same.

I have got a 9* LS head and adapters for sale if any one wants its. Too many drivers right now(5) and too many shafts to try in them(10). Living in Wis my season is halfway over and i need to stop tinkering so much(but not completlely)and whittle it down to 2 drivers. I only hit driver maybe 10x per round and i dont think i have had the same one in the bag for more than 2 rounds!

I did hit my longest of the season with it 321 with an ahina 70x in it.

I had a best ball/scramble game yesterday with my LS Tec 10.5 with tour 65 shaft with regular flex yesterday. Very happy with it and was hitting pass a couple of guys in my group gaming R15 TP and G15.

Love my 80. Play a stiff tipped an extra .5" (I think that makes 1.5" total) and butt trimmed to finish at 44.5". Heaven sent.

Just wondering what everyone opinions were on the Tour 65 stiff vs x shaft.

The one I picked up was an X and I generally play a stiff. I was hitting it well with 277 average at the end of my 1st round with it. Feeling wise it feels extremely stiff but I'm not sure if that is just the difference from the shorter shaft. I had been playing an R15 TP stiff that played about 1.25 inches longer.

I am thinking of trying to find a tour 65 stiff to test and either trade or sell mine possibly

I thought the Ping shafts were pretty stiff when I was trying them out. I'm borderline and went with the 65 stiff. If you end up looking for one shoot me a PM, I've never swung the one I have.

Snagged a DI 6X to compare to the rogue and the 6s although the Rogue has been great lately. Almost double eagled a 585 par 5 the other day that I've never gotten home in ~100 previous rounds.
