Anyone know a NY resident that could make tee times?

I'm in the Tre time system and can make them 2 days out. Never had trouble getting a time, and I've done it 4 times.

38 37 for 75 and everything was pretty solid. Putted great and didn't get myself in trouble. Told myself no doubles and have fun and that seemed to work out just fine.

 

I thought rate was a lil high but I brought the clubs in case and didn't plan on playing so being able to play and play well- double bonus

 

More later on some thoughts that seemed to keep things simple

For the red tee guys, what's the earliest you can do tee time wise? When I book I'm going to shoot for either a 2:30 to 3:00pm start time, and 4-5 foursomes (based on interest). Hoping to have the last group finish up around 8:00.

I know there was a lot of talk about switching up venues, but IMO it's down to either Blue Mash or giving everyone another crack at Northwest. I considered Compass Pointe but given that most of us prefer to walk, that is just out of the question (the place is unwalkable). Re: Timbers, I have not been there to personally check it out recently but some coworkers of mine played it about 10 days ago and didn't have anything good to say about conditions. It is walkable, but not as much as the other options.

 

If you have $.02 to put in about venue, please let me know by Friday. Expect to throw in another 5, I'm getting custom "Red Rag" towels made for the low gross and low net winners.

Shocker, I know. Haven't played it since the reno, playing there soon with GregH to get out match play match in.

Hobbits would be interesting to see again, but I'd be surprised if you guys aren't burned out on it. Bar closes early during the week tho. Maybe different during the summer?

 

Glenn Dale's main defense is the speed/local knowledge of the greens, so yeah that would be wild for anyone who hasn't played it yet.

Any weekday gigs are a no-go for me until next year when I'll have 2 straight 4-day weekends in late March. Exception is September with my full weeks' vacation and I plan to be down in Georgia.
