mine are going on 14 years (Precept Tour Premium CB's). fell in love with them in the early 2000's. this is my 3rd set. found my current set on ebay brand new still in the box in 2010 for $200 shipped. i really have no desire to change, although those new Ben Hogan Ft Worth irons look pretty sweet

The one set I should have never let go..... such a great set of sticks

I play a set of irons until I wear them out generally. So I've had my Titleist 660 blades in the bag for a couple of years. The grooves conform, the sweet spot is in the correct place for me and sole fits me. So why should I change? And of course I keep a V groove set of Ping Eye 2s around to play people with the common bias's on this site.

Hm, well my JPX 825 Pros are over a year old. Not changing those. When I got them I retired an MP-53/63 set that was used for 3 whole seasons.

I love tinkering, but if there's one thing I hate to do is change irons. Putter doesn't even factor in because I've had the same one for 5 years.

Had some 64's that I played for a while and probably could have gamed them longer, but fell in love with the Srixon looks. Probably play these for a while... For once in my life I think I am content with my bag, although I would like a Veylix Rome Roughneck for the driver.

I'm happy playing with my J36PC with KBS Tours. I got them cheap two years back. The other day I was on the range, the guy beside me was hitting a set of old MP29s with Rifle shafts. I asked him if I could try it out and boy, they are sweet!

Although I occasionally experiment with other sets, have played either 962 or 962b irons for vast majority of rounds since 1997.

I have in my bag a set of the J38 DPC that I absolutely love. I have a set of J33 combos heads that are waiting for shaft install. Waiting on a set of Modus3 to come in the mail. Not sure which heads to put them on.

Some of the best irons are older a year...In my opinion, the 2011 Tour Preferred MC irons are the best irons TM ever made. (Fully forged clubheads and none of those awful slots). My set has the Dynamic Gold XP S-300's that were exclusive to TaylorMade at the time and unfortunately no longer offered by TM or True Temper. Wish those shafts were still available.

A few iron sets from the past that I still really love are the Mizuno MP-32's, the Tourstage Z-101's, and the Tourstage TS-202's, all with the Satin Project-X 5.5's. The Adams CMB's with C-Tapers are nice too! All these are fully forged iron sets

The only 2015 irons that appeal to me are the Srixon Z-745's. Haven't pulled the trigger on those just yet, but eventually I will pick up a set of those.

I am still playing JPX 800's. I switch ever so often to MP62's. I have been wanting to get fitted for some irons for a while and would like to try some Titleist offerings such as AP 2's.

I play 2014 MC's now. Does that count? Lol. But I did have the 2005 tp's in the bag prior. I've gone through 3 sets and always tried to kick them out of the bag but nothing ever could.

A year? It's a piece of metal at the end of a metal rod used to hit a small ball 50-250 yards...why would you replace that until it no longer can do the job? I'm perfectly happy with my Mp32's.
