I only ask because I am getting ready to reorder the T-MB or a T-MB/AP2 combo with Recoils due to joint pains. Old man shafts! :)

 

 

I am building a set similar to you Ty

I went 712U 4i w a UST SPX Silver 100gm

then 5-PW 714 AP2 w Recoil 110 F4 in the 5i and then 125 F4 in the 6-PW

kind of a unique set for sure, so Im hoping it works out for me

Cota- Nice putter man, I'm digging the blue paintfill as well. Interested in your comparision between the M1 and D4. M1 has been a good driver for me so far but so many good options coming out it's going to be hard not to fall into something else :)

Wow, D4 longer than the M1? I might have to snag one. I've never been long with Titleist drivers, those being the 915/913 D2 & D3. Never tried the D4, b/c I'd have to buy before I try and they are $$$. I find my M1 pretty darn long and yes, quite forgiving.

 

About how much drop off in forgiveness is there between the D3 and D4?

That sounds like it could work well. I was thinking of the 110 F4's in all the irons and the 125's in my Vokeys. Since Dre says we can hijack here...are you getting the Protos or not? I'm thinking not b/c they are so freaky expensive.

i did not get the PROTO's

my understanding is they are more tip stiff then the regular ones and fly a little lower

I like my irons to fly high, especially in the long irons, so the regular ones I THINK were better suited for me

I actually just dropped them off today to get installed in my AP2's

 

also got word from Will (Will Peoples) that my 712U was shipped as well today

so the next couple weeks will be fun watching new stuff come in

Never owned a D3. Hit my buddies but wasn't the shaft for me. M1 430 sets up real nice and gets out there. I hit them head to head on a few holes. I really want to get on Trackman and get some data here soon. Work schedule had been crazy as of late. I would still say the setup that I have in the D4 is longer but not by much.

I've actually got the 125MSI rogue 60TX with an

8.5* D4 in the bag. It's a fantastic feeling club but I can't speak for outside performance as its 20* outside here in frosty NY

I have it in the standard setting. I might try and mess with it a bit possibly flatter lie. I don't want to mess with the launch of it just yet though.

When I was at the Oven I tried the Rogue 125 and got the worst numbers with it. It was tipped an inch and it was cold outside and I had layers on. I'm going to get on Trackman here the next few weeks with the Rogue and if the numbers are better than the WB that might be a possibility. This Rogue is a 125 but untipped. Until I see data though I will wait on it.

I'm bringing both! Going to mess around with both drivers at Spanish tomorrow and maybe the 006. Definitely going to play the TW at Pebble. I still prefer the shape more. Although I really like the line on the 006 vs my 001TW. Which ever I play better of the two drivers I'm playing that at Pebble. Going to play the Vapor Fly Pro tomorrow at Spanish too. If they impress me I might play them at Pebble. So... Club ho checking in with Two bags lol

Yes site line on top vs dot. I think the best combo for me would be a 001 shape with sight line on top. No line on the flange. Yeah I'm excited. I just found out they have youth on course. My son can play for only 5.00!!!! Going to try and add him to my group. He would freak out!

I can't stand the Warriors! I was rooting for them last year because my Dad is a fan and was waiting for this moment for years. Took him to a playoff game and cheered for them. Now it's pure hate I feel for them lol. All my buddies are fans and give me crap about my Lakers all the time. I like the TW head because it's just something I'm used to seeing. I came from a Newport 2 SS prior. I had that in the bag since I can't remember when. My version has soften bumpers and top line too.
