Thanks. I am digging the line on this one too. I travel a lot on business. I was using a Machine when I travel from Dave Billings. Come to find out they are all friends. Billings used to work with MT at Hogan too. I never wanted to bring the TW with all the TSA horror stories. Franklin offered a travel putter and I sent back the Machine. He said he much rather have me putting with a Method vs Machine lol. I thought that was cool because even behind the scenes these guys are competitive. It was a win for me because I honestly didn't like the Machine. Now I just got to figure how to get this home. He asked me if I wanted it mailed but the putter was in my hands. I was like no no I will take it now lol

To answer your question lol. No I didn't roll it. They only had TWs prototype and Rory's backup in there. Plus we were in the putter machine room not out back.

It's probably my main putter for now lol. I have to add it was a kind gesture for helping out with a charity event he held at the Oven. So there was more to it.

This was after mine. A totally different one. It's cool to see them using the Oven for charity events. I think it's awesome and the last one they had was pretty impactful.

My bad. It's a little shed out back where they have been a putting green indoors. They also have one outside. I didn't get a chance to roll anything or hit the new stuff. Although my fitter and I were talking afterwards and he was like I wanted you to hit the new stuff! :( damn me

Hit the m1 today and will play it tomorrow. Dispersion is instantly better vs the D4. Could be shaft related. If it's longer on course vs the D4 then I will get on Trackman and dial it in and possibly replace it. The T-MB continues to impress me. Cranky shots still fly far and hold their line really well. At this point the 4 iron T-MB is noticeably easier to hit than the 5 iron AP2. I think a good cut off line would be 5 iron T-MB. Nike Vapor Fly Pro irons should be shipping soon.

Yes. If I had to do it all over again I would do it that way. Except the PW. I hate the PW in Ap2. Rather go SM5

When I tested the T-MB and AP2, I thought the AP2's won on feel, especially when it got to the shorter irons. I didn't notice a huge difference in forgiveness between the two when I got to the 7-iron though. Some say that the T-MB's are between an AP1 & AP2, but I think they are pretty close to the AP2. The AP2's actually launched higher for me too.

I could see myself doing a 4-5-6 in T-MB and 7-8-9 in AP2 and PW in Vokey, but that would drive the shop nutz...and the lofts might have to be tweaked at the transition point. Probably just talked myself out of it.

I like the 46* Vokey too. Heck, I wish Vokey made a full set of irons, kind of from the bottom up. They are BY FAR my favorite clubs in the bag!!!

I agree that the AP2s feel better. I could see that combo too 4-6 in T-MB. The only thing that would worry me going to far down in the set is distance control. For me the T-MB are pretty hot off the face, they get out there especially on lower trajectory shots. I really like the 46* Vokey, reason why I don't like the AP2.

I am building a set similar to you Ty

I went 712U 4i w a UST SPX Silver 100gm

then 5-PW 714 AP2 w Recoil 110 F4 in the 5i and then 125 F4 in the 6-PW

kind of a unique set for sure, so Im hoping it works out for me

Cota- Nice putter man, I'm digging the blue paintfill as well. Interested in your comparision between the M1 and D4. M1 has been a good driver for me so far but so many good options coming out it's going to be hard not to fall into something else :)
