was wondering through my local DSG and found this little beauty just sitting on the shelf!

 

 

 

 

$499 price tag with speeder 757 shaft. Only had 2 on hand. These were definatly meant for the japanese market by the stickers and marks on the club. I know a lot og guys really wanted this when it came out. Looked just like a super deep from a few years back! Enjoy!

The new Taylormade Outlet store here in Myrtle Beach is selling the Black JDM only SLDRs too

That was my reaction as well. They had a sldr fairway with the same japan stickers but it didn't look any differant. Must be getting product from the japan side of the biz to liquidate here in the states

It was worth that much last year. Not sure how it's worth that much this year. If it was marked down like the rest of the SLDR's then it'd be worth buying. At $500, you could get just about any 2015 driver you want and many in tour issue version. Just not worth it.

You can also find stock 460 heads with upgraded shafts for around 170 in DSG.

anybody know anything about the diamana or attas go go 5 shafts? Just saw a 10* 430 w/some kind of diamana and a 9.5 460 with the attas at DSG Japanese model.......

Diamana is the real "W" whiteboard, not the D+ model.

Neither of them I have ever seen before. No idea on performance.

The Taylormade outlet in Livermore had these for $220 with the whiteboard or speeder. It was tempting but I am happy with my G30LS tec

You may well love the Japan SLDR, but that's no reason to piss on the R15. I happen to like mine a great deal - much more so than the regular SLDR or any of the new Titleist offerings. It may not be your cup of tea, but it is certainly NOT a POS.

[/quote] I work in the golf dept at Dicks and they are JDM heads. My store got 8 of them and they were gone in 3 days. Im hoping to get more this week because I didnt put one aside for myself. I will repost if we get more and anyone interested can Pm if they want me to grab one for them. We also have the 3w with speeder 661s now that are going for $150 i believe.

GRRR!!!! This is why I should never go on this forum. Here I am perfectly happy with my R15TP, when this thread pops up. Sure enough, I walk into my local Dick's (literally across the parking lot from my office), and there are three of these Japan models mixed in with the regular SLDR leftovers from last year, two 460s and a 430TP, all marked the same $169.95. Of course, I grabbed the 430TP with Speeder 661 shaft. Still has the $499.999 price tag on it.

Now, what to do with the R15TP (assuming this knocks it out of the bag)? I hate first world problems. ;o)
