After all these years of trying to hunt a set down and not willing to pay a arm and a leg for them, glad TT has decided to release these. I agree with some of the other posts that X100s can spin a bit too much.

They should be out either late December or sometime in Jan. I would expect the PGA Show.

I'd really like totes these, I have the ti x100's and spin them a lot at times, and have the c taper x in my back up set and those hop and stop, my 7-pw spin back on my quite a bit with the x100's.
I had C Taper X for a short season with very little practice. The tips bent. Before they did, they were a fine shaft. The X7, for me, launched a little lower, spun less and felt better. Also a LOT more durable. I went right back to X7 after the C Taper failure.
Never experienced this issue, had the irons for little over a year, lot of down range shots and course play, is it just a matter of time, or ;limited to a batch of product?

Unfortunately it's not just limited to a batch. There have just been way too many people who have had the same exact issue (myself including).

I know of only one tour player who uses them maybe 2 if you include daly.

But good luck to anyone who likrs them
I think there's three. I know Jason Day uses them, John Daly does, and I THINK Gary Woodland switched from project x 7.0s to the x7.

That ball gave the wind the FINGER!

I have a set of 3-PW X7 pullouts with brand new GP green victory cord grips just collecting dust in my closet. They play much stiffer than a X100. If anyone is interested in them let me know.

Just received 2016 product info and pricing from True Temper at the end of last week. These are scheduled to begin shipping to PFC dealers in mid January and will be available in 3-PW sets with single shafts available in 2 iron and Wedge length. They will have a heat transfer label similar to the DG Tour Issue shafts.

Ok, so some of my c Tapers are bent, which explains a little why some distances where off on my irons - while I wanted to blame the equipment, I though it was the Indian. This is disappointing because my iron play is the strength of my game. I believe the direction to go is something different than a C Taper application, after reading everyone input on this going C Taper again is glutton for punishment and frustration.

6 iron, got about 96-98 mph SS, I'm 6' 2" so I'm a little steep by build.

My thoughts.

Get a set of DG x100 HS - played dg X1's for a LOOOOONG time, like another poster said, went to Tapers because I like the bounce skip and stop of these shafts.
Not a fan PX shafts, though I do have a PXI in my 2 iron which I like

To wait till January for X7's going to be a long wait, I don't even want play now I see they are bent; that's probably extreme stance. Anyway

Not sure what to do - these irons where bought in Sept 2014, they aren't that old - maybe in WRX times that's centuries for equipment - but its certainly going to cost a few $$$ to get these reshafted and got knows what those x7 MSRP will be

Open for suggestions, I like my mp4's so much, feel like a child that just got told "Santa Ain't Real"

I've played a lot of different shafts. Was a Super happy camper when I saw on twitter that TT was FINALLY releasing them. I would love to grab several 8i shafts for my wedges. I sold my set of X7's once I was truly comfortable with my C Taper X's. My backup set has DG Pro X100 which I like much more than the DG X100's.

On a side note, I wonder if UST Mamiya makes Recoils in F6 flex... haha

I actually preferred X300 over X700. X700 actually launched even higher and spun a ton because I couldn't get the shaft to load properly (Which is saying something.) Solid as lead pipes, deadly accurate. Just too stiff and too high launch.

If it's any consolation, you can contact KBS and they will send you a new set of C-Tapers. Yes, it will most likely happen again, but if you may as well do it since it won't cost you anything.

Dabbled with the X7's for a little while after bagging X100's for better than a decade. I was all set to put a set of X7's in my latest set of irons when I was prompted to try the Modus 3 125X. Haven't regretted the decision a single round.

The answer to better golf is work your butt off and learn how to hit it better, farther, and make more putts.
