Nice to see this as a more readily available product. But it doesn't fit a lot of people and I don't believe they will be making enough to have tour issue weighted sets.

I've played these in a couple sets of irons. Believe it or not, they still spin a ton. I always revert back to Project X.

I don't thnk these play as stiff as x100's .they do feel 10 folds smoother then x100's I wish whatever they did to this model to get it to feel the way they do, put it into the standard dg models

I can't wait, there are lots of younger guys now that are super strong from gym work and they need a product like this.

It would be awesome if they could do a "superlight" model for over length builds!

Pretty hard to fit a guy that is 6 foot 7 and swings a six iron at 106mph, very limited shaft options!

That's how I feel. I feel dgx100 feel stiffer then my super pending blues and I feel the x7 play similar to the nippons. IMHO I have no troubles switching between the two, but give me an x100 and I'll swat you over the head

I third this.. x7 is smoother feeling to me...yet more tip stable.... My vegas have x100 with tips trimmed 1/4 inch.... they play very close to the x7...but the weighting is still different... I have never owned the x7..but I have hit them ... just never could seem to run across a set that was either reasonable or at least 38 inch 5 iron...

That's up for debate. I know what frequency analyzers say, but they don't feel as stiff as standard x100 . it's pointless to argue with me, since I play them and don't find them as stiff as x100s . go bark up another tree.

Now, now. No need to get upset over something so trivial.

I've hit them before too and agree that they feel more smooth than x1's, but that is a far cry from actually being less firm. My intent wasn't to argue per se, but if it was, I could just say that I asked the question to True Temper a year or so ago when I was thinking of picking up a set and they said it themselves.

These things are stiff and heavy.
In almost 4 years of building and fitting clubs in a large quantity I have built 2 sets of irons with these in them.

Other thing to remember is that these will be PFC only from true temper so its not like your going to just get these after market from oem's

Been playing them for years. I have a set with x100 and while the trajectory is similar, they spin much less for me. Played almost every other shaft and keep coming back to X7. Also psyched I got mine before they toss on that ugly banner.

Made my decision that much easier as I've been walking the fence on whether or not to go PX 7.0 or X7..... definitely waiting on these babies. I have no quarrels with PX but intrigued on these....

I'd really like totes these, I have the ti x100's and spin them a lot at times, and have the c taper x in my back up set and those hop and stop, my 7-pw spin back on my quite a bit with the x100's.

I had C Taper X for a short season with very little practice. The tips bent. Before they did, they were a fine shaft. The X7, for me, launched a little lower, spun less and felt better. Also a LOT more durable. I went right back to X7 after the C Taper failure.
