My golf bag has Southern Comfort embroidered on it... that doesn't count does it?

My golf swing has Southern Comfort embroidered on it.

we have an older gentleman her at our club, i mean he is the oldest member that can still play (and thats really pushing it) They were telling a story about him at one point (while he was not around of course) of him having a bag that was literally falling apart. They said that you could see the shafts of the clubs it was so bad. So they all got together and bought him a Bud Light bag, because that was the beer that he drank after every round. This was 10 years ago, and before my time at the club, so i can only go by the story. They presented it to him, and had a certificate drawn up that congratulated him on winning "Bud light Drinker of the Year" and the bag was presented in appreciation for drinking more bud light than anyone else in the club for 1 year. they said that no-one ever told him that they had bought it and he used it until it fell apart.

hacks come in all different forms, how can you stereotype a "hack". I wish some middle aged man say something to me because of my flat bill Nike hat or matching Nike wardrobe. I'm sure after I hack one into his nuts he wouldn't be saying a word afterwards

wow just wow.

The GPS rangefinder is somewhat universal. Players of all abilities use it when they are simply too lazy to look for a distance marker. A laser rangefinder, however, is a bit more of a yellow flag. A Lucas book and a pinsheet? Place nominal bets when you see them.

Too lazy? Must be nice to only play courses that have every sprinkler head marked or that have been mapped by George Lucas

and the real beauty of it is that he will be one of those middle age men in the blink of an eye and he has no idea that it will happen .

and when it happens,he will probably be playing alone most of the time, and have no idea why..lol

I'm a single-digit 'grinder' but I use these. Need to replace my GolfRound, If anyone has any they want to let go let me know!

I also have one of these hidden in the bag. Fellow golfers think it's funny...until I retrieve one of theirs for them...

Can someone explain to me how towels and soft bristled brush makes me a hack? I'm dead serious.

A hack would be me hitting 80 balls on the range while never brushing the clumps of dirt&sand out of my grooves. I'd have to replace my clubs in a month from wear..

Let's see.. 3 wedge covers. 2 wood covers. 2 hybrid covers. Putter cover. That's 8 head covers. My set irons still look brand new after 3 years, I'm a hack because I care about my clubs..?

I like this thread but come on guys, really.

There's really not a way to judge someone's lack of ability.. There's better way's to tell how good someone might be, though. That being said, I haven't played against anyone who match the newest models of everything, top to bottom, that I haven't beaten. Quality of equipment hasn't been any indicator throughout my summer in league, though. Honestly, I think I've lost to people with old trusty clubs more than I've lost to people with the newest equipment.

LMFAO

I use Martini tees and iron covers.

I use to use Martini's. I switched to Bugle Tee's. Set it and forget it.

I use 4 more yards tees, oversized iron covers for my TAYLORMADE Rsi2 irons, play a Ping G Driver matched to the YELLOW 2015 e6 ball...& to cap it all of....pièce de résistance... a Pink Panther driver head cover.

I guess I am a total hacker. Yes, LUVN'it abliet a low cap hacker.

Cool :)

Who in their right mind would buy that?

[Added] On second thought it might be handy to have that behind your front seat should you get caught in gridlock on the way, to or from, the golf course. More room for error than a coffee cup!

My problem is LOFT -- Lack of friggin' talent
