Damn, sounds like I need to try some Epons. My eyes are set on the OnnOff 247 MB's, but i have yet to see an in hand pic of the club at address. Someone on here has to have a set right??

Which set are you currently playing and what is your backup set specs?

So if they say the new onnoff 247MB's have the spin milled hosel, are they forged by miura and can possibly have the miura feel as well? If I take the plunge on some onnoff, I want the feel that comes with it.

For Epon my gamer set is 302’s with KBS tours. Backup is 302 with recoil proto 110s. I also have a set of personal 2s but don’t think they fit into this discussion of a forgiving, soft CB.

Found this 6 iron at my local shop. With the red/black ad di 85s shaft for 20 bucks. If I hit this well, I might need the whole set. They look really good at address.

Face progressions look low in long irons (aka more offset).

You misread my comment.... or didn't read the previous posts..... I Never said On Off used Spin weld hosels... We were talking about Miura dense feeling . OnOff has always used Endo to my knowledge in the Kuro line and used Miura Giken for a limited edition set of blades years ago. No Clue about the current products.

Found a great deal I couldn't pass on so had to buy another Yamada. Still love the burning copper finish on my first but love how clean this one is.

I think you're misreading haha. 247MB DOES have a head and neck forged separately. It's also limited to 200 sets, so... sounds like Miura forged. Also explains 99.3 Pure on wedges.

I 100% know what I posted about and it had ZERO to do with the 247MB so ??? ... damn some people really get wrapped up in their own though line. I was specifically referencing Kuro Irons.

I may have a set coming since I was able to move along those tm p7tw's. Anyhow, the only shaft I can get is the modus 105's, which has me worried. I play the modus 130's in my cb-57's currently and really like the weight. I'd hate to blow so much money on a set only to have to rebuild the things.

I have a Yamaha T100 guitar head designed by Soldano. Sort of the JDM of guitar amps, produced for one year and haven't found anything that sounds better in 20 years. Puts Marshall to shame!!

 

On that note just bought a near new set of TN-87s the originals not reissue, played my first round with them yesterday and they are worth all the praise, played blades my whole life and they feel different than anything I've hit. The flight was perfect. My playing partners were like, "what are those, they sound incredible off the face!" I let them each hit a shot and they were all flabbergasted.
