I love playing toward the evening, I will start about 3 and finish around dark, for me I like to play at that time because I am fully focused and do not have any morning grogginess. Plus I don't have to worry about the greens changing speed on me to much.

i still play in the morning.....if I cant get off by 7:30,then i'll wait until around 11....less crowded.......I also love the twilight in the summer.

Can usually get off after the evening leagues, and have a course pretty much empty. My normal 4some will play usually 3 times a week.

The first one of the day. That way I can play at my own speed and not have to wait on anyone. My usual foursome will all walk and be done in 3:15. Drives me crazy to get the 2nd tee time and wait for the group ahead of me take 3:45 and I'm waiting all round.

My regular foursome (or fivesome) likes to play around 10:00 most all the time. It's good for me because I detest having to "rush" around in the morning to make an 8:00 or earlier tee time. I like to get up at my regular time (about 7:15'ish), have a nice leisurely breakfast, check my email, walk the dog, then have time to do a few necessary chores around the house before golf. I don't like having to come home after golf & have household chores to do. Yes, I am spoiled, but I worked full-time from the time I was 20 yrs old till I retired to be able to do this, & I'm enjoying every minute of it. Of course, I haven't been able to play golf since before Christmas, thanks to ElNino & a great snow season here in the NM mountains. It's getting very close to "desperation" right now though, and we girls are going to have to go someplace where there's no snow to play golf VERY soon!!! If we don't get to hit something with a stick real soon, our husbands will be our next targets. :cheesy:

As early as possible. Avatar pup is up at 4:45 a.m. After that it's just waiting for enough light to tee off.

We are normally first off every saturday and sunday at our muni.

Depending on the time of year, that can range from 6:20am to around 10am.

I am almost always home by 11am, with the rest of the day open. I also do not like playing behind people unless I have to.

We usually play 18 in about 3.25 with 3 of us

Late morning around 10-11. I have leisurely coffee first and the morning golf crowd is halfway around. Workers haven't broken for lunch. I finish early afternoon before the after-work crowd shows.

fall/winter - 7:30-8am

spring/summer - 9:30-10am. It will be hot as sh*t but don't like playing the first few holes with morning dew on the ground.

I like to be the first group out in the summer to beat the crowd, but that usually doesn't allow for any time to warm up; sometimes even on the putting green. I tend to play better in the afternoon for that reason. Even if I don't warm up I feel loose. When I play by myself it is usually before work and practice usually after work.

I like to play early in the morning as this is when the central core of members of our club go out so it's the most social and there's usually a little scramble or something going on.

However in January my lovely wife started to play the game so the past couple of months I've been teaching me her to play. This has meant later tee times during the quiet hours of around 11 or later. I've grown to enjoy to quietness of these rounds and the time we spend together but a part of me is looking forward to getting back to some "competitive" golf.
