It’s interesting bc it feels a bit softer than the leather on my other pairs. Not sure what I want to do with them.

Are the tags on the inside the same? Most of the time promo sample pairs have different tags

Tags look the same inside. Here’s another side by side. Getting more convinced that the leather is different. Both pairs as deadstock.

So the Concords look like mine—don’t have a pic, but I know they are the tumbled leather. Personally, the pair on the left looks higher quality than on the right. Unpopular opinion but hopefully the next time they do these they are in the OG canvas material (Nike could coat it like the Flyknit golf material) so there isn’t leather variation to worry about.

On another note, pictures of the white metallic gold colorway don’t do them justice. They are so good looking in person.

Agree 100%. They’re the easiest to wear because they nearly go with anything. Wish I kept my extra pair.

You might be right here the more I look at them the more they look like a soft tumbled leather. I just ordered another pair so I guess I’ll compare them. 😂 I figured since they hold their value I’ll just sell one of the pairs. Or wear one more and keep one? 😈

I actually like the look of the tumbled (or whatever you want to call it) leather. Adds some character and seems nicer than the smooth.

It would be a very expensive task but I wonder if you could take the 6’s and sole swap them with the tw13’s so the shoe doesn’t feel so heavy.

In general Nike/Jordan have really been pushing retros to be as true to the original as possible, so if they release the AJ11 golf again, then I'm willing to bet it'll have the Cordura upper like the regular version.  Also the midsole will probably revert back the EVA... I think the AJ11 golf was React?  Not sure.
