Seriously... Was gonna wear mine for the first time tomorrow and it's raining right now... FML... It's stopping by morning but do I want the virgin round to be on a wet course...

I'm in Atlanta so I feel your pain!!!! I was hoping to play them this weekend, but the way we've had rain this winter, I don't even want wear them two days after it rained because I know it won't be as dry as I'd like it to be. PLUS, I kind of want to wait for all of this pollen to move on. It's been ROUGH!!!!

Can you elaborate on the differences and what you like for each? Thanks!

I can only speak to comfort and weight. ST is very nice. Don't know anything about traction yet but the remind me of a Nike Free slash Flyknit trainer.

They're just newer versions of last year's flight runners. Traction is the same as well. I personally think they provide more traction than the TW '15s, but both are good shoes IMO.

Oh, and for the record, if you only wear ONE golf shoe and don't rotate your shoes then you might not want to get the Jordan shoes. If you do (like I know many on here that do), then just wear them in dry conditions and you don't have to worry about getting them wet.

My current rotation:

LC4s = (1) White, (1) Midnight Navy, and (1) Black IDs

TW14s = (1) Black, (1) White

Jordan ST = (1) Black/Red

Eccos = (2) Biom Hybrids (more for the casual look)

That's plenty so I won't have to get my J's wet!!!!! LOL!

Can you compare the 14s to the J's?

I haven't played in the J's yet because I just got them Tuesday and haven't had the time to hit the range or play a few holes since then BUT, based on the good ol' living room range (swinging clubs inside AFTER my wife has gone to bed), I can tell you that the J's have the same solid stability as the 14s without feeling as stiff out the box (my 14s are definitely not as stiff as when they were new but they were definitely a little stiff out the box). I think the spike design and the ridged sole will make this shoe truly awesome on a course!!! I love that they used the sole of the 14s instead of the 15s.

If you had to rate comfort and stability, how would you rate above shoes?

Comfort (in order) - Jordans, LC4s, Bioms, TW14s

Stability (in order) - TW14s, Jordans (based on swinging in the house), LC4s (VERY stable shoes) and then Bioms. Don't let the 3rd place finish of the LC4s fool you...this is more like a tie. They are the best all-around shoe I've worn in a long time!!!!

Appreciate the detailed response. thanks.

Well the good news is my sister got me the employee discount (40% off); looking forward to sporting them on the course now that spring has hit.

I thought that they'd sell out fast but they're still available online at nike.com so maybe not a big deal after all.

I do think they look better and will be better made than the first ones from last year.

Only thought is when they ever do the Jordan 11 retro for the course, that'll be tremendous.

I actually spotted a pair of the red/black ones at Nike Outlet in Rosemont (Chicago). Just one pair size 11. But I was surprised to find a pair at outlet so soon.

Could be a return. Lots of recent releases end up there or back at Nike stores.

especially if it's just one size.

Wore my ST's yesterday and it ended up pouring. Should have called it quits, but didn't. Anyway, they held up real well and didn't feel like my feet got soaked. So there's that.

That is pretty impressive, maybe they can hold up on a dewy morning...

I wore mine Saturday for the first time. No rain but it had rained Thursday and Friday and the course was cart path only so definitely some wet spots. My feet stayed 100% dry. No complaints. And man are these shoes comfortable.

Did either of you walk? If you didn't, I'm still highly impressed!!!! If you did then WOW!!!!

I did not walk,I took a cart. That being said, it was cart-path only so it was significantly more walking than a normal cart round.

ST fit me pretty nicely true to size. I normally wear 10.5 and actually order wide when I can. The ST aren't too narrow for me (despite no wide available) and the toe box is not constricting at all.

I have lunar 2 in regular width and they're comfortable but I can feel the toe box tapering against the side of my toes.

I 2nd this. I'm a 14W in most shoes but with no W available in the ST I went with just the 14 and they fit awesome. Nice wide toe box that isn't constricting.

Ditto, wear 8.5 wide in all Nike shoes, but Jordan's work fine in normal 8.5. I have the normal flight runner sneakers and 8.5 normal is great also. They width on the Jordan shoes must be a touch wider.

I like that they are using for a lower what seems to be the most stable base for golf shoes in recent years. The TW13 and TW14 had supreme stability. I never owned the TW13 because for some reason they didn't make them available in size 14, however the TW14 (for me) is (still) the perfect shoe for keeping your feet still during the swing, no matter your lie. I love the the Jordan ST has that base and these custom Jordan 9s that Chi McBride is rocking have the same base. LOVE IT!!!!!

Pretty sure the black ones will release. Don't know when.

Couple of other people posted on social media. All had the 30 year anniversary tag and box.

If they don't sell. You could already return them to Nike. Get your money back.
