Just got the red pistol 104 version put on my SC RedX tonight. Coming from a couple year old Winn mid-sized pistol that was on there so it's very similar sized. I already have it backweighted with a clevis pin in the shaft so I went with the lighter model and was told it would be similar weight to the Winn. Won't be able to try it out until Sunday, but I really like the feel of it so far. Will report back after I get to try it out.

Installed the 104 contour on my mFGP and it lasted just one day. Didn't like the squishy feel compared to my current fav Pure Grips Med Pro.

So the 104cc is more like midsize Winn and the 140cc jumbo size?

Is it as soft and squishy as the Winn?

I have played the SS 3.0XL counter balanced on a TM 38" Daddy Long Legs for over a year now, and have really liked it, but recently it needed to be in timeout. On a whim I took my old SC Futura (yes the original one) and added the Pistal 140CC to it. My original thought that it would make the putter extremely head light, but after having it on for a round and a few practice sessions I have been pleasantly surprised. Distance control was good, and made a few to keep the round alive. Definitely going to keep it in the bag for a few more rounds. I do like the larger size of the 140 vs. the 104, but that is probably due to the SS 3.0 gaming for quite some time. The "squishy" feel of the grip did not bother me at all, and was quite easy to control.

 

Overall very happy with the experiment, and would encourage the WRX'ers on the fence to give it a try.

Yes, I putted left hand low yesterday with the Contour grip on my all red Spider. One of my best putting rounds of the year for me. I made 3 longish putts 25+ feet and a bunch of solid putts that scared the hole all day. I really liked the way my right hand position was on the top of the grip, i double overlap my ring and pinky finger (lefthand) it was very comfortable and was able to have light grip pressure which really helped. I've tried all the SS, Winn's basically all of the new putter grips and to me this is the best one out there with the lamkin "sink" putter grip coming in a close 2nd.

Just got mine on a few minutes ago and it feels much heavier than my SS 3.0. Looking forward to getting out to the course in a bit and trying it out.

I put the S140 on a 370g Anser style head for the counterbalance and it's great so far. At 35" 370g was a bit too heavy but now with the extra weight in the hands it feels incredibly solid and "one piece". I don't know if it's the grip size or weight or most likely a combination of both but I've never felt this stable over short putts.

Finally got my newly build Yes Callie Putter with the UST Mamiya putter shaft and the SNSR 104 cc Pistol grip back. The putter is gorgous, rolled a few on the carpet and so far I love the feel of the grip. It feels soft, but not too soft, and the size is perfect.

 

Tomorrow I will go to the range in order to work on my game, and will test the "new" putter, and compare it to my gamer, with Super Stroke.

Tried both the 104 and 140cc contour (pistol). Nice shapes, but a bit too "squishy" for me. The packaging said soft, so perhaps firmer versions will follow?

After one hour on the putting green I can say that this grip is great. The pistol shape helps me to place my left hand always in the same position, which helps with consistency. The feeling is great, too, not too soft, seems to be very sticky. All in all I am very happy.

I had the 104cc contour installed on my Odyssey #9. I went from a SS 3.0 and I must say that putting has become enjoyable again. I haven't had this much fun putting in a few years, there's just so much feel it's incredible. Just goes to show you how dead feeling the SS grips are. Can't wait to put more time under my belt with the SNSR

I'd say they're pretty similar. I used a SS 3.0 and switched to the Contour 140 and couldn't be happier, especially with my longer putts. I've putted with the Matador and I think they're very similar in size and the transition wouldn't take any time at all.

I went to my local Dick's and they had all the sizes of the grip. I wish there was something in between the 104cc and the 140cc. The 104 feels like a SS 1.0 and the 140 feels like the SS 3.0. Maybe a 125cc which might IMO feel more like a SS 2.0 in size. I'll probably order a 140cc contour and give it a try on my Odyssey #7 CH.

Had the 104 straight "soft" and really didn't like how soft the material was in my hands. I liked the "feel" of the size and shape of it but, not how gummy soft the rubber is.

The grip texture really reminds me of the Scotty Cameron Matador. I personally like that texture but a lot of people don't.

Played 18 this morning, and still love the grip. I am a really bad putter, but today I had no 3 putt, and holed 3 from more than 8 meters, which is a first for me....

I picked a 104 Contour up today at Dicks. Looking forward to slipping it on a Seemore and giving it a go this week. Will report back.

Had the 140cc straight put into my Seemore Si5. Hands down the best putter/grip combination i've ever used. The feel and feedback is fantastic. Makes its very easy to have a light grip and to get back to square at impact.

Put the 140 contour on my putter, replacing the 104 pistol. The contour feels firmer, could be just me and fits my hands much better. I really like this grip!

The grips were too squishy for me. I couldn't ever get comfortable with either size. I just posted both sizes 104&140 contour to the bst.

A lot of people are commenting that the grip feels too squishy for their liking. Wondering what you all would recommend as a slightly firmer alternate to the 104 contour?

Played 9 with a 104 contour, 14 putts, felt fantastic. It's interesting, feels squishy if you put a lot of pressure on it, but you don't notice it when putting with light grip pressure. Would like to try the 104 straight.

Put the contour 140 on my Odyssey Works #7 CH and had 30 putts yesterday. My initial impression once it was on was that it was too big but after putting so well yesterday I'm leaving it on.

I played 36 holes over the week-end, still love the grip. Had my best putting round ever yesterday, with 4 one-putts, which never happened to me before. Today the putting itself was very good, too, but I had some difficulties to read the greens.

 

Will order one for my Scotty, together with the Frequency Filtered shaft, as I think that the combination of shaft and grip improved my putting, thanks to the great feedback I get.
