thanks for your kind thoughts....nothing major, just a glitch..change in meds...

it was a little cool today, but light weight winter under garments, and a nice wool sweater took care of the chill.

i see we seem to be on a time limit as far as editing changes? oh well...no bother in this forum.

it just started a shower here..i walked out,can see blue sky all around....and a dark cloud passing over...pouring rain  lol

For all things Michigan, @Fellaheen51 is the man to see.
And for all things involving lead tape and other forms of golf club bastardization customization, the man to see is @"BIG STU"!

[Added] that was fast; I got an almost instant notification in the lower left corner!

On the subject of golf, I had a physiotherapy appointment today and we got to talking about my putter build.  I knew that my PT was a golfer as it's on his bio on the company website.  He told me that he was quite excited at having purchased his first adjustable driver, a Titleist 917 D3.  He said he prefers the smaller head so I'm thinking this guy is probably a player.  I told him that I also had a Titleist driver, a 913 D2 and that I knew several people who played Titleists of various denominations.

I suggested that he take his time trying to get the Sure Fit hosel to suit his swing the best as it can be a bit of a process and not to rule out any sort of adjustment even if it doesn't appear to make sense.  In my own situation, I found that dropping the loft .75° and flattening the lie a similar amount had the best result in terms of reducing spin which was leading to slices and a lack of distance.

Been to the doctors this morning and the pain in my left heel is because of  tendon problem, starting physio next week to try and fix it.

At least they have figured out the problem.  Hopefully physio works for you.

I am still going because I think that there's a benefit, but I've been wondering just how much.  It certainly helps having a benefit package to cover such things because I doubt I would have stuck it out this long if it was totally out of my own pocket.  A lady that I know has been going for three years now since she was in a rear end collision.  She told me she is still going every two weeks to correct all the abuse she puts herself through at the gym which is part of her recovery regimen.  Makes you wonder...

Hey Rad,

You got some Southern Indiana Rednecks in your neighborhood. I just got a text from one saying he carded a 108 on the Judge.

My reply was from what I've heard that ain't bad.

That course has humbled many a golfer Bick. I think a lot of it is that sign on the first tee that says "Prepare

to be Judged". Gets in peoples heads, lol, and that first hole is a tough hole to start a round on.  There's no

easing into the round; you've got to be on your game immediately or you can card a big number on that

first hole very easily. I'd take a bogie anyday and run to the 2nd tee.

Well, I do have my limits. I'm not changing my avatar to get a 5th badge today. And I think we're just doing

what we are encouraged to do, help promote a positive and electric atmosphere in the midst of these new

changes. The Grille be buzzin' with activity.

Speaking of oddball stuff; I heard that train whistle again this morning.  It was off in the distance and coming from the same direction.  Only heard it the one time though, but it was definitely there...

------------------------

With the weather being so nice I had the patio door open this afternoon and I heard this strange sound coming from one of our white pines.  It sounded like a goose going honk, honk.  It kept happening so I went outside to look around.  Who ever heard tell of a goose in a tree?  I've seen pheasants in trees, but never water fowl.

Finally the object of my curiosity took flight.  It was big and appeared to be dark on top, but light on the bottom.  It flew over towards one of the silos and landed on the roof, but was soon chased off by something much smaller.  May have been a red wing black bird as those suckers have no fear of anything.  I've seen them go after a Red Tailed Hawk!

I got a hold of my trusty Audubon Field Guide and I think it may have been a Raven as the range matches up as does the call in breeding season.  We'll say that the light underbelly was just my eyes playing tricks on me.  Difficult to really know with certainty as I only caught a brief glimpse of it as it flew back towards the house and then out into the field.

LMAO.  Haven't logged on since yesterday.  No clue what a badge is or isn't but evidently my worthless appearance helps earn them.  Do I get a badge for an ace?  Badge me up.  I'm a badge-arse.  Like a badger in heat.  Wearing the red badge of courage.

"On my honor, I promise to do my best to do my duty, to God and my country."

Cool avitar Tol.  Bill, take me golfing.  I'll give you a badge for doing so.  Nice build Scomacer.  Fella, team Izzo made it a nail-badger, I mean biter.  Radro, stretch those hamstrings.

Coming soon - The story of my third cousin twice removed by birth control, who invented heat rash.

Have no clue who, if anyone is here.

I shall entertain myself.  Quotable quotes from the conversion.

1)  "Doc, I don't know what to tell you.  I was online when suddenly photophobia kicked in."

2)  "Yes, people used to like me more and no, I don't hate my mother."

3)  "I need the big can of Raid."

4)  "Hey, I'm truly sorry we missed the original conversion deadline, boss.  It took 4 hours to migrate the whole site and two days to move that dang Grille."

Did anybody else bookmark the Grille? I did, then last night we had a birthday party (for me) here at the house, and my phone started lighting up on my emails every time a post was made on the Grille. By the time I got up this morning there were bunches. Didn't know you'd get an email for every post. Do you get an email badge too?  :*

Ha Ha.  Yesterday's news Sixty.  You'll be slammed with emails from the Grille without mods.  Open notifications (the bell above).  Click the slider looking thingy to the right.  Opens Notification Preferences, where you can uncheck how you choose to be notified when things are happening in and around WRX.

Happy belated Birthday BTW.  Hope it was a great day for you.

Wow, could have been one of several different types of hawks in your area besides a Red-tailed. You would have all of the following: Swainson's hawk has a lot of white underbelly. So does a Ferruginous hawk. There's also a Sharp-Shinned Hawk, not much bigger than a robin, and a Cooper's Hawk, about the size of a crow. They would have white underbelly's too. The Red-tailed would have a much larger wing span than all of these so it would be much easier to identify.  Sorry if that little class was boring...  :/

and no post about raptors would be proper without mentioning a bald eagle :)

Looking at the Leaderboard this morning, see that the Grille is well represented.  Rad & Sco leading the pack.  Tol & Sixty making an appearance in the top 10.  Gotta figure out how this points business works.  Otherwise, I'll be left in the dust.  An insurmountable lead.  Hard to score points in the Grille, where everyone apparently racks them up.  Except me.  My total seems to move at glacial accumulation pace.  Have to find a way to step up my game.

Need some "Agrees" or "LOL's" to score a badge.  (Noticed an Agree badge, assuming there's an LOL one as well.)  This is what WRX'ville has descended to.  Begging for acknowledgments other than "likes".

How long before the "Powers That Be" realize we've figured out their ruse?  And start throttling us back.  Until then, perhaps posting pics will score some Easyyy points.
