Ya, I'm the biggest likes loser at 51K+......Poof! Gone! Got a feeling though that there are going to be a lot 

of WRXers a lot more upset about losing their likes than I am.

 

Don't know if a disagree button serves a useful purpose. Like you said Bill, I think WRXers will use it as a

dislike button in reality and if that happens I think it will be done away with. It's not good to provide a

vehicle for people to go negative.........because they surely will.....just like the shank button in the WRX

articles section.

I quoted a guy in another thread, and screwed up his quote with the backspace button. noticed there was no cancel post button. Maybe it's there but I couldn't find it. I backed out of the thread, went back in, and my screwed up post was still there. Maybe the edit feature?

easyyy is making an announcement in a few minutes giving a timeline of fixes, etc. He said they had outgrown the old

platform and it was crashing daily. Promised the new site will be much better than the old when it's all said and done.

Yes, the site is now secure. Notice it now starts with https instead of the more unsecure http. Just for the

sake of old times though I'll toss in a pl post from time to time. .....to pl ease you wordsmiths.

we all had that "not much happening here" comment......and I was blaming Reasy,  Well, I guess we can put

a comment there we want visitors to our profile to read.Apparently one can cruise by another's profile page and add comments in the dialog box.  Could see how that may not work out so well. Would opt for turning that feature off given the opportunity.  

 

Miss not going to the bottom of the thread page to see who is in the house.  That "who's online" to the right is a mess.  

 

Checked my email this early a.m., 22 notifications of everyone's chatterings.  Advising me to "go check it out".  Sheesh.  For the time being, un-bookmarked this thread until I can figure out how to turn off this feature.  Don't need more emails cluttering up my inbox.

 

Not liking how this dialog box formats.  Would prefer viewing as it actually posts during the composition, without having to go to "preview".  

 

Tol.  Perhaps it's time to add one of your paintings as your avatar.  I nominate the roosters one.

If I should ever inadvertently hit the disagree button instead of the agree one, apologies in advance.  Know it's going to happen sooner or latter.  Please advise of the error and I'll correct.  Just hope that it's in the Grille where folks are understanding.  Rather than out there in the wild of WRX.  Where others might get P.O.'d.  Thinking out loud, may have been useful BITD when the conversation turned to Physics.

 

Edit add:  This formatting looks like shizzle without viewing as actual during the composition.  Cannot determine paragraphs.  Looks like one big run-on posting that's problematic to read.  Evidently dam (****) is now on the verboten word list.

Yeah.  What's this points business all about?  And what's the process for earning more?  Seem to be stuck on 110.  I'll do whatever is necessary to get free swag.  Bumped into a "Points Leaderboard" yesterday.  Now can't seem to locate it.  Always wanted to see my name on a leaderboard one day. 

 

Edit add:  Found the leaderboard.  It's in the "Activity" menu, upper right.  And there's one of our own as the current leader at the turn.  Conrad, how you racking up the points?

I like the explanation, it fills in some blanks as to where it's headed, at least not specifically but gives you insight that there is much more coming. I think we will be delighted.

Plus, it appears that we can easily add pics while in mobile mode.  We can now post pics of our HIO's so Reasy can view in real time.

Near as I can tell.  If one posts stupid shizzle that runs afoul of the guidelines, instead of being placed on suspension, you're relegated to only posting in the Child Categories.  Sorta like a time out.  Maybe?  

 

Edit add:  Apparently, Child Categories are the discussions that reside above general Discussions in any particular sub-forum.  Seems like an unusual way of labeling them.  Why not simply "Categories".  Perhaps you've already figured this out.  I'm still in the process of exploring.

I see the eye straining teeny-tiny avatar list is gone this morning....lol  they must be putting in some over time to

make all these changes ! Its a lot of work ! Hope we will be able to choose a color background...this stark white is 

white !  Some nice eye comforting soft tones would be nice....maybe...just maybe...i should experiment with wearing

Tried doing a tool run, however you cannot tell after a few seconds if you have actually recoded a like, totally confused. I was impressed by being able to edit at any time but the three things that I enjoyed most apart from the Grille banter were the lack of posts, the acumelative likes and the timeless edits. My world is coming down around me.
