I still check this thread daily which is just stupid on my part. I have officially lost all hope they will have regularly supplied ksigs ....which means they will be available in a week for two days and I will buy them increasing my supply from three years to four.

One thing I have a problem with ksigs as well as snell packs or vice packs is that I simply have bought way too much volume for he amount i play. And still want to get more. The newest thing will be comparing snell reds to my ksigs using launch monitors and playing outside when it gets warm in Ohio.

That particular problem comes from thinking if you use up all your golf balls a year or two from now, there will nothing that performs as well and/or nothing available at an affordable price.

Which is not a realistic view of the situation. More and better cheap Urethane options show up every year. And the performance of balls is certainly not getting any worse over time either. Anything you can do with a $15/dozen K-Sig today, at the very least you will be able to find 99% equivalent performance for slightly more (maybe $20/dozen?) a couple years from now. And best case you'd find something that works even better at some point in future.

My hope for KSigs being offered permanently (or the direct-to-consumer ball companies significantly eat into the OEMs' market shares) is that it will substantially lower the price of tour-quality urethane balls. Until a majority of golfers send a message to Titleist/TM that anything over $3/ball is too much, the manufacturers have no incentive to lower costs. I'd be interested to see what the profit margins are for Titleist and others on their tour balls. At $45 per dozen, how much of that $3.75 per ball is manufacturing costs and how much is profit?

i need the guy that bought a pallet of ksigs to open them all up, pour them into an oversized money vault, and then swim in them like scrooge mcduck.

Pallet ? Holly molly...wish I have that kind of money to throw around, but I will not spend it on golf balls.

Was this before they started to limit per customer?

yes. it was from the first release, prior to any hype, if i am remembering correctly.

note: i am most likely not remembering correctly.

breaking news: i have just received a video of this guy at home (see below). must have been after he sold those ksigs on ebay at a 300% markup.

Speaking of smaller direct sale golf balls, today I was gifted 2 skybox tickets to the Toshiba Classic this weekend in Newport Beach. Inside the boxes were the tickets, tees and a couple of sleeves of VICE golf balls. They were the VICE DRIVE but VICE non the less.

I was very surprised they were not a Velocity but I guess the VICE was probably much cheaper to give out.

So after 3 months of my local warehouse not stocking any balls, they have a new pallet of Superhot 55. Weird to not have anything for such a duration.

Guess the new KSIG Performance + etc is not coming anytime soon.

They keep tweaking their balls listed on the USGA conforming ball list. Tour Performance us the only 4P currently listed. Gone is the 4P Performance One and now there are 3 different Performance Plus/+ balls with differentiating ball markings. All the Performance Plus/+ balls seem to be exactly the same.

Interesting -- went through whole list and could not find one other ball with those exact same characteristics of 3p/2c M-H 338.

I think I have 8 or 9 dozen ksigs in my closet. I got them when they first came out. I played them a little and thought they performed pretty well for the price but I prefer a different ball. If I was an eBayer I would have unloaded them when the prices were high. I’m interested to see if another version comes out

Keep in mind that last spring's release coincided with round 1 of The Masters.

mmmmmmmm :telephone:

I'm going to be Mexico that week....... :beach:

:golfer:

I just checked last years order date, it was the end of April.

:golfer:

They were also available at 40 Costco stores on the first day of the Masters last year (4/6) then online in late April when you ordered them.

I have given up the K-Sig watching. I finally ordered 8 dozen used Grade A Snell MTB from Lost Golf Balls.

Always wanted to try Snells, finally pulled the trigger.

I like the K-Sig and I have 18 balls left from the first release, just didn't want to wait anymore.

They have a pretty good deal on the Callaway Superhot, 4 dozen for 60 bucks. I've tried them and it's a good ball for that price, near Chrome Soft performance.

I concur, a really good ball, especially for the price. Really long, just missing a little bite on the greens, but you just adjust a little.

Those are 55 compression right? They feel like a CS?

They’re fairly soft, not sure I’d say they feel quite like a CS, though. Definitely do not spin like a CS, but they are a good ball on par with super soft and Titleist’s TruSoft or whatever they’re calling it these days.

It appears you can stick a fork in the Ksigs unless you live near a Costco grand opening.

Callaway Mavrik Max 10.5°
Callaway XR 16 3 wood
Callaway Mavrik Max 3 thru 5 hybrids
Srixon z565 6 thru PW
48°, 52° & 58° Cleveland CBX wedges
Ping Sigma 2 Kushin C flat stick

All subject to change in the blink of an eye.........and I blink a lot.
