I had preordered mine weeks before the release and finally got them Monday. Well worth the wait. PX LZ's were on backorder so they were a couple weeks behind schedule.

I have a few range sessions in with them so far and I'm very happy. I went with 565 4 and 5 irons, 6-9 765's and 965 PW. I kept my U45 for my 3 iron. Amazing set throughout.

I had a 545, 745 combo prior. To me the 565's set up a little smaller than the 545's which is very nice. The 765's are very similar in performance to the 745's, only difference to me is the toe has a slightly rounder appearance at address. The 965 pw is great, very workable and surprisingly forgiving for a blade.

Criminally underrated irons all across the board

So I got my set in about two weeks ago since my surgery got postponed. I went 765 from 7-pw and 565 in the 4-6 iron. I got all three RTX wedges 50, 56, and 60 and got the 130g xstiff c-tapers since I'm a high ball hitter. My trajectory is significantly lower now with zero ballooning compared to my Tour Preferred CBs.

These things feel amazing and pretty damn forgiving on Mishits.

Is that a srixon zfour bag? Is it at least water resistant?

It is a Zfour bag, and I couldn't tell you if it's water resistant, haven't had a lot of rain to play in in Douglasville.

I currently play tour issue s400 & see that these are not an upcharge so leaning towards ordering with the s400 amt shafts. What would b the biggest difference between the project X LZ 6.0 & tour issue s400 amt. I have played & liked the regular project X 6.0's & I like the regular s400's. Thanks in advance

The 400's will be heavier with less spin and lower flight. The LZ's are lighter then the original PX with higher flight. The LZ's have a great smooth feeling like the Modus. I loved the original PX , but my elbow couldn't handle them. The LZ's are the holy grail for me!

Sounds like everything I would want. This dang back order of LZ are killing me! Lol

have you hit the Lz's cota? Just going off memory, it doesn't seem like the shaft profile fits what you have been playing. I was surprised just how different the load felt versus a px or dg

I hit them only in store. Can't really trust any data in store but if it's closer to DG profile I'm good with that. If I can find something that launches around the same as DG but lower spin than the AMT I'm good. I feel like the PX are on the harsher side feel wise.

got it. I spun the Lz a ton, but we are all different. I just felt like I had to be very smooth to get the most out of them. They work well for many tour guys, so hope it's a good fit.

random question, but what towel is that

West Pines Golf Club towel.

guess I should have been more specific, what brand of towel (it would match my bag perfectly)

Russ and jmgonet,

If you're looking for a towel that would match your bags perfectly, I suggest getting this Vice microfiber.

Does anyone have a review forthcoming based on actually playing the 765s for more than 3 rounds on a course? Such a review would most appreciated.

I have played 2 weeks with these now. I've played Nike Vapor Pro Combos, and for the last full year the Apex Cf16.

The 765 are really nice. I'm getting use to the head size, as they actually are longer then the Apex irons (non-pro, what amazing irons!), but feel SO MUCH better. The long irons for the 765 are oddly easily for me to hit then the Callaways (just my opinion), and long (close to the apex, maybe even same to be honest, I dont see myself clubbing "up" on any shots that I would usually hit with the Apex irons.

The the long irons and the feel are amazing. The size is a little different (longer) , I have to get use too, sleek looking, and just great irons!

I have them in KBS Tour V stiff.

Thanks for the little review! You don't regret at all going with the 565's in the 3-5 irons?

Two reasons I haven't ordered mine yet is the LZ shafts are on back order and I still don't know if I should get the 565's in the long irons or not.

I've only hit the 6 iron and its very long and forgiving. Some times I want to order a combo set, and then I want to go all 765's. As I'm typing this I'm even considering all 565's.

765's all the way through, no doubt. A little more solid feel, they aren't hard to hit.

When I originally built my set of 745's I went 4-PW because they are easy to hit and pretty darn forgiving for a cavity players iron. That said, it only took me a couple of rounds to realize that I needed to put a 545 in that 4-iron spot. Since then it has been superb for me.

My advice (and I hope you don't take offense to this)...drop the ego and build a set that will offer you total confidence. I can hit my 745 4-iron but I hit my 545 4-iron just as good a higher percentage of the time, so it's got a permanent spot in the bag.

Hope you are well GJ. Would really live to read a review from you if you find a moment. Best wishes, D

Hey just curious, how do you like the tour v stiff? What did you play previous? How far do you normally hit your 8 iron? I'm torn between these and the X stiff soft stepped to keep the weight up.

Any feedback would be great. Coming from c taper stiff soft stepped 2x that am now launching to high with not enough spin.

How's the u65 18* performance off the turf. Is it as long as other competitors - UDI, tmb, apex ut

I never found the apex or tmb to be long compared to an iron. I think the u65 is more comparable to the udi in distance and the easiest di to hit off the deck I've found.
