I mean, these new M2 pics, we have a guy thanking WRX for front paging them while 2 guys (maybe more) have been fired for leaking pics of the Callaway Epic. I'm not sure what all this means.. but someone needs to get to the bottom of it!

Things are spinning out of control

People act like this guy getting fired is somehow wrong, but you have to remember that leaking this info to to the public also leaks it to competitors.

Let's not forget the consequences of this in other industries. I personally know of two occasions in other industries over the last few years where a person was removed from a facility in handcuffs and taken to jail for leaking classified company info to competitors. Neither of these industries were matters of national security, the products were no more significant than golf clubs.

As long as we are dealing with "lets not forget" , Lets not forget that this company has representatives running all over the country showing these club to dealers and letting customers who are friendly with the dealers hit them.....Not quite like dark clad characters sneaking into the underground vault and snapping pics with their high tech spy cameras....

Exactly....while this would never get filed and may not be worth the hassle on the part of the employee, I'd be really interested to see the outcome of a wrongful termination suit here. If this product truly was confidential, did Callaway and Dicks take appropriate measures to keep it as such?

Anyone know if you can still order the 2016 M series? I've seen it posted a bunch that people were told this years series is now discontinued and they couldn't order one.

Everything should be available but M1 430 9.5.

About 1 weeks worth of inventory for M1 460 8.5, 9.5, and M1 430 10.5.

I don't think so and I got flamed in the Callaway thread for saying that the product introduction would happen much differently if the goal was confidentiality and that Dick's may not have provided proper employee training. The "but for" test is usually reserved for criminal cases; however, "but for" the fact that Callaway was actively showing the club (in the age of ubiquitous smart phones with cameras and social media) the individual would have never had a chance to take the pictures and post them to a website. I do not believe the person fired is absolved of all responsibility, but there is also shared responsibility on the part of Callaway and Dick's.

Don't all remember that the RBZ stuff had neon green trim as well?

Taylormade should have used the whatever green color on the rbz line on the M2 line.

I just bought an M2 on Thursday. Would y'all wait it out for the new model to drop?

Having the same battle right now. I just sold my 3-wood and Driver, and now I'm wondering if I should wait and hit the 2017 M2, wait and see if this years M2 price drops when the 2017's are out, or just go ahead and order them.

Anyone loose their job??

I just tightened mine.

Excellent!! Very important to lose the extra "o" in loose when you mean to be "without" something. It took 10K views; you should win something..............

Saying that the M2 driver is the most used on tour(as WRX mentioned in this article) is kind of misleading. The pros play a far different version than the one me or you could buy at a retail store. There is even has a different groove set up and has been hot and melted to have a weight set up that fits their swing.

Unless TMAG has some magical form of hotmelting that the other manufacturers dont, how would that lead to more players playing M2s? Until I hear Titleist is refusing to hotmelt their pros' drivers I will need a better explanation why non tmag staffers are playing m2s if the answer isnt going to be the m2 is better.

Nope retail same as on tour , sans the tour van treatment , which does make unique in some ways , but you get yourself a good club builder and some shafts, you got yourself a bonafide tour issue master piece that came from the same Chinese facotry as DJ's. Not measured though
