2017 TaylorMade M2 Driver Photos!

I find it slightly odd as the more "friendly" of the M family that it would be 2 degrees open. I would assume they'd save that for the M1 430 and have the M2 460cc be like .5 or 1 degree closed.

 

I'm guessing it's 2 degrees open because it's the Tour head, not a retail one. Tour pros like an open face more often than not and I'm betting the retail version will be close to square. I believe my current M2 is square in it's natural setting but I've lowered the loft 2 degrees to achieve an open face.

 

That's what I figured.

 

I'm interested to see when/if Rory will switch.

Have you hit the previous GBB? Can you compare? I just sold my GBB b/c I hated it. I swung it in store and liked it, but when I got on course it just wasn't for me. Ended up going back to my old Fly Z.

 

I've been hankering for an M2 because again, in store, it's been a monster. Can you give some numbers?

Hopefully with the 2017 M2 they keep it the same length as the 2017 M1 and 2016 M1, same stuffing around with swingweights.

Any idea if they will be making the 2017 M2 fairway wood adjustable? That's the only thing I wished was different. Don't like the weights on the m1 3 wood but I like lofting down to open the 3 wood up.

Agreed....I've got a shaft with adaptor ready to go, just waiting to see what they come out with.
