You're bag is money. I've see a couple of people hit a 2 iron, most of them carry it like a 3i but have a lot of roll. One guy could carry it a little farther than his 3i but it still was a lot lower than his 3i. When Monte hits it, how high does he get it with his swing speed?

Why wouldn't you take the forgiveness of that thing am I right? =) But let's be honest, he could hit a blade 2 iron just as pure any day of the week.

Like is said before last stage, there are no excuses, just a narrative.

 

It's funny how golf is.

 

Last week, the tee shots set up perfectly for me. If you carried it 300, you carried the bunkers and lakes on a lot of holes. Made driving the ball easier.

 

I hit my wedges well and just pitched poorly and misread greens left and right.

 

This week the fairways are a lot wider, but when you carry it 300, you start to bring some bad stuff into play, so I have to lay back on some holes and will have to hit more 6-9 irons than wedges.

 

I wish I didn't suck with 3-wood...lol

 

I am pitching the ball much better and have a better feel for the greens. Dumb game.

 

In the end, if you play well, you play well and if you don't...well then the course means bupkis.

 

Last week was about being patient with the greens, both pitching and putting. I wasn't, but struck it well enough to make it moot.

This week for me is about getting off the tee correctly.
