Softer than MP5's? Wow...

Is it sacreligious of me to ask about forgiveness? They look incredible, but definitely as butter-knifey as you can get!

Much like the MP-5s they are very forgiving for a blade.

Have to pull the shafts. In this case also a shaft change.

Keep us updated. What’s the new shaft in these stunning clubs? If they really have similar forgiveness to an MP5, they’re basically perfect.

Changed to Shimada S Lites from PX LZ. They are truly an amazing set of clubs.

Wait until you see the next set I'm having made. Sticking with the pair lengths even thinking about doing a paired length set of fwy woods.

Ah Shimada. Very interested in those. Supposedly a high quality shaft. Am eyeing the 115g Mid version in stiff for some Miiura BB heads. What is the weight on yours? Am told they play slightly stiff to flex.

And never could get excited by the PX LZ. Tested it several times. Nothing at all like a PX Rifle, that’s for sure.

Look forward to seeing the new irons!

I have the Oban CT-115 steel shafts in a set of BBs right now. These are made by Shimada, too. Great combo. Shafts are amazing, too.

I have the Oban CT-115 steel shafts in a set of BBs right now. These are made by Shimada, too. Great combo. Shafts are amazing, too.

Yes, am aware of Oban. Very high quality and the 115 comes in so many flexes they can dial you right in. Shimada markets its shafts through Oban dealers in the U.S. Have heard nothing but positive comments about Shimada, including that a stiff is really a stiff and you can even hard-step a reg and get a pretty stout shaft that plays smooth. Pretty amazing that they make seamless steel shafts.
