Agreed. He looks to have a little swagger going on so far. It could easily go the other way with a few bad holes, but right now, he looks pretty locked in. Get some putts to drop and he'll be right back in it and the confidence will just keep building.

It's fun to watch right now, as a fan of Rory. He's had a great look at birdie on every hole, except the Par 3. He could easily be -4 or -5 on the round today. Hopefully he keeps it up for all 18. Driving the ball beautifully

I wouldn't have Rory down as a great wind player but this is a fantastic performance in the conditions so far. If he can get in the house Even from here on the rest of his holes, he probably won't be far away.

 

I think it's because as they say that if you're playing well your shots travel well through the wind, and Rory is just hitting the ball that well.

Im stuck at work today so listening to BBC Radio 5 Live. John Inverdale is having a 'mare, getting names mixed up "Justin Speith" and being generally ignorant of anything associated with golf. Roll on home time and back to some decent coverage on Sky.

Same feelings, no sky, kodi not working, looking after kids and have 5 live....boy inverdale is a prat

Yep, one year I watched on direct tv and,BBC coverage showed 20 mins more golf than us version
