I have my 3rd annual Ohio Golf/ Kentucky NASCAR race weekend coming up in mid-July. I'm playing The Virtues Club (#1 Public in Ohio) on Friday the 13th, Stonelick Hills (outside of Cincinnati) Saturday morning and likely the Quarry Golf Club (Canton, OH) on my way back to PA Sunday.

Played it last year when we were there and it was my least favorite of the four. You said it, it was OK but I much preferred the Irish. We get a replay based on availability between those two. If its MV then it so be it.

They were grassing in the Loop when I was there a few years ago so I haven't played it. But Forest Dunes....man that track is mint. I tend to rank it more highly than many of the magazines.

Scrabo, Portrush, Castlerock, Ballyliffin, Donegal, Sligo, Enniscrone, Connemara, Ballybunion, Tralee, Waterville, Macreddin, European Club, Baltray, Ardglass, and.....Royal County Down.

A very exciting line-up.

Renting a car at Dublin Airport, driving anti-clockwise, staying at pubs and B&Bs, walking mostly but carts on the tough courses.

Taking a couple Wisconsin trips this summer. Heading to Erin Hills over Memorial Day for two rounds, Sunday and Monday. Taking advantage of the free round with overnight stay. Then In August, heading back to Wisconsin to play Wild Rock, Lawsonia Links and Sand Valley( Sand Valley, Mammoth Dunes, and the Sandbox).

 

Added a few rounds in December at Kiawah Island.

 

Playing the Ocean Course and Osprey Point on December 7-8.
