Alright so I can't get anymore pictures at the moment but was told "the regular and draw versions have a little long heads compared to the Epic, but the Sub Zero is about the same. There is NO sliding weight on the regular version now as well. Callaway is also replacing the Epic iron range with the Rogue and Rogue pro irons" I'm guessing the price point will be the same.

Longer than the Epic? Good Lord I wish someone there had good taste in club shape. The epic length is butt ugly so an even longer one would be butt uglier.

This has been well discussed in the Tour and Pre-release area (just with no photos). This is not an Epic replacement, it is a XR16 replacement. The XR16 has hit its two year replacement cycle.

You could be right but I was told it was an Epic replacement by my friend on staff with Callaway and by my local Callaway rep. Either way it's a new Callaway driver.

I was also told that this is an Epic replacement... from the story I heard, the feedback Callaway received indicated that players were having consistency and accuracy issues with the Epic so the Epic and Fusion driver had a baby named Rogue... the desire result was a driver with the length of the Epic but more consistency and forgiveness like Fusion.

In the UK there is a bottom of the range brand called rogue. They mostly make kids sets and beginners stuff. There is a full bag of the things here:

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/FULL-SET-OF-ROGUE-GOLF-CLUBS-BAG-AND-TOWEL/253216190360?hash=item3af4dc6f98:g:oVgAAOSwVqlZ6Ljz

If you want to see any more I can get some pictures off ebay - I could put together a rogues gallery...

If that's true, then Rogue is a very poor name choice - as there nothing about the word Rogue that means consistent.

Driver - Callaway Paradym

I was really hoping that the next leaked iron pics were going to be the Apex CF and Pro 18. It just seems fast that they are replacing the Epic range of irons this quick.

I think the X Forged and Apex MB's are the replacements for the Apex CF16 and Apex Pro 16. Don't quote me on that though.

When is someone going to sell a Driver that does not look like it descended from a kitschy 1980's movie?

I'll probably end up buying a Mizuno Type I for no other reason.

Srixon stuff is pretty classic. Black crown to silver face.

I wish they could come up with something cleaner looking for a washer under the adapter screw. Really? 3 different sized plain steel washers? How long do they need to get it right?

Where is the 3rd washer? Every Callaway driver I’ve ever worked on only has 2. I don’t get what you mean by “get it right” either. How is this wrong?

So they are going completely to the Rogue name. Wonder if Aldila will be mad, or they will have the Aldila rogue shaft as their main shaft.

I doubt Aldila would be mad. Callaway used the Epic name which was the name of a shaft Graffaloy made at one time. This has me looking forward to the Callaway Ozik or Callaway Diamana drivers at the end of 2018. :taunt:

Sort of like a Chevy that they tried to sell in spanish speaking countries named Nova ... which of course loosely translated means "doesn't go".

Of course it's just a rumor I heard... no way for me to verify it at this point.

Word is the Rogue isn't replacing the Epic, it is replacing the XR line.
