Did Jessica Korda Have Plastic Surgery?

She does look better now

I think that's a pre surgery photo.

I didn't recognise her at all and I make no judgement on her appearance. Impressive win.

I wonder if she had issues getting into Thailand. I'm sure she may have anticipated problems and got a new passport issued.

Before and after. Significant amount of restructuring, esp. the lower jaw.The people who do this kind of work don't really worry about what you look like afterwards. Their main concern is moving all the parts around so that it all fits together and works like it's supposed to. She still looks a little swollen and likely will get a little better in the next few months. An early concern for me was being careful I never got hit in the mouth because I felt like it was all going to come apart. I'll bet during the victory celebrations she was secretly thinking, "get the F&$#@ away from my face!"

With all the plates and screws, she likely sets off all the scanners at the airport which will be a pain in the butt.

That is a drastic difference. I'm sure that was no fun at all to go through. My first time hearing about a surgery like this was when Mike Napoli had a similar surgery a few years ago and his jaw line looks completely different now.

I did not know about the surgery until I read the GC article this morning. I watched the final round. They kept on saying Jessica Korda was leading, and I kept wondering... why do they keep showing Nelly. Then they would show Nelly, and I would think... when did she change her outfit, and when did she drop 15 shots on a hole. It was confusing as hell.

I had the same thought. She looks so much better now. I bet her confidence is through the roof and I bet she feels tons better.

I can only imagine how good she will look in 3-6 months.

She's a beautiful young woman with a very bright future. Hopefully the surgery successfully improved her headache situation. As a migraine sufferer myself I can tell you that living with pain is no fun.

I personally feel this was more of a cosmetic issue than a health issue. She looks completely different.

As for this comment: low class. You assume too much and no, she does not look "completely different."

Then you clearly don't know what you are talking about. She was in severe pain (bury a screwdriver in your ear and twist it for a real feel test) and the likely prognosis was pain for the rest of her life and one of the very real possibilities is that your jaw joint starts to be compromised. Unlike knee or hip joints, there is no real functional replacement for a jaw joint. Once it's gone, you are basically going to eat through a straw for the rest of your life.

Of course she looks completely different, but she now looks like she was supposed to look like if her jaw hadn't been malformed.

Its just my opinion. Gotta love White Knights.

And opinions are like a...........well, you know the rest.

Why in the world would she make up stories about severe migraine headaches, sleep apnea, and only chewing with 20% of her teeth. Maybe do a little research and actually find out the kind of pain that comes along with such a bad overbite and malformed jaw before you opine.

You're never going to be with her. Quit being such a white knight cuck.

This is the type of response that happens after you run out of valid arguments. Just because one looks different after surgery, doesn't mean the cosmetic change was the initial intention. In this case, it was just icing on the cake.

I am serious! Her look is greatly improved how would you like to be called goofy? Previously, she had very little chin. People are vain, I mean everyone. She looks great. This is the age of cosmetics.

Pain eventually goes away.

If I were young an a celebrity in the public eye, and could afford it, I would do the same. Pain is not a big deal.

In some parts of the world short people get their legs broken and stretched by levers (extremely painful). Those who have a nose they don't like get it broken and surgery to where they like it. Some have ribs removed to have a smaller waste, some get butt implants, boob jobs, new teeth, etc, etc. The lists goes on and on.

(

Socrates: Not a dumb statement at all.

I know a number of people who have had extensive work on their nose and said it was because of a deviated septum. The real reason was for a change in the way they looked. They give this excuse because they don't want to appear vain.

The end result is she looks great, I think she is very happy with the out come.

Doctor: I've got to break your nose and jaws in a dozen places to make you look the way you want to look.

Me: F*** off. I'm good.

Please troll somewhere else I started this thread because I wasn't aware of her health issues. Now we know the truth it was due to serious medical concerns I'm guessing having your face broken into pieces isn't part of nicely packaged cosmetic consideration. Let's loose the speculative comments or close the thread. BB

I personally believe that JoeyJoeyJoeJoe was dropped on his head as a baby. I don't have any evidence to back it up, but my critical thinking skills would certainly lead me to believe that brain damage is a distinct possibility.
