Iomic Grips

How good are iomic grips? How long do they last before you need to re-grip? I got some different types to try out.....x-grip, x-evolution, iXx2.3 & x-evolution 2.3. Thanks.

I would say 2. best...

 

No.1 are in my opinion NO1 grips...

 

No.2 IOMIC

Sticky 2.3 will give u tackier feel with medium firmness

Sticky 2.3 is a fantastic grip. They last a very long time. I've had difficulty keeping the brightly colored ones clean; black end caps from other grips leave marks on them that are difficult to remove. The tackiness is second to none, IMO.

I like the No.1 grips too, but the model I had was so soft it was almost squishy feeling; as if I could feel my hands move a bit during the swing. I like the firmness of the Iomic 2.3's for this reason.

I've had X-Evolutions on my irons for over 2 years now, so something over 200 rounds of golf, and they're still plenty tacky. They do show a bit of wear in a couple of spots, but I have no reason to replace them yet.

Any love for the Ixx 2.3 LTC's?

 

I've been testing one for a few weeks now which seems nice but wanted some other feedback before taking the plunge

I’ve got 100+ rounds on Sticky 1.8’s (I have lady hands) and while a couple are showing some wear marks, still plenty of tack.

 

I have a 3 year old one with probably close to 400 rounds that is shot...

Grip solvent is pretty phenomenal for cleaning the Iomic Stickys.

I tested a friend’s 2.3 midsize and found the end cap and first inch overly large. I’m wondering was this the grip itself or how his fitter installed. The rest of the grip was really nice, soft but not squishy.

I have the black armor on an old set of titleists... probably 4 years old and they still feel great. I think Iomic is the best grip in golf. I'm wanting to try the iX series

Nowon No1 50s & Pro 50s (slight firmer) are quite tacky, but also rough. The edges really got to my hands.

 

About to try Iomic Sticky Midsize and will report back. Use the similar Iomic sticky putter version already and it feels great.
