Opened up 20 dozen chromesoft and chromesoft X and 90% of the balls look new. The 10% that have any sign of being used were many chromesoft ++ balls. THANKS OP

Got my 10 dozen. Only one ball is borderline unplayable (pictured below) but I'll still playing it during a 9 hole round or when I just have time for a few holes. Some have very light scuffing that I'd normally play but about 85% are like new. I got 52 ++ and 68 X models. Perfectly happy and tempted to order some more!

Did anyone order Taylormades? I'm curious, I'd guess most would be TP5X.

Maybe my standards are lower, but I'd tee up the "borderline unplayable" ball pretty much any day of the week. I may need to eat some crow on my previous comments about this deal based on condition, and definitely stand my saying if I didn't have a deep stash already I would have loaded up on these.

These aren't member golf balls. They're used by the pros during the PGA Tour event. That's what makes the deal extra cool to me.

Check the lethal's to see if there is a dot next to the name. If so that was the tour predecessor to the world famous TP red ball. The lethal dot ball is the best ball I have played to date.

I did think it was odd that when I clicked on the TM balls the included models were Lethals / Tour Preferred / TP5X. It kept me away as it seemed like a wide range. I noticed that the ProV1's were 2014 PV1 and 2016PV1X.

My stash grew quite a bit last year and I never paid more than $15/dozen new including 4-piece Callaway Hex Pro from RBG, RZN Platinum from the Nike Outlets and in Olympic Sleeves from Edwin Watts, Tour Preferred Ammo Box from RBG, and Gamer Tour from DSG. On top of this, I grabbed 15-dozen of Near Mint TM Urethane Mix in the 5-dozen mesh bags for $16-$18 each from one of the GolfBallNut accounts on eBay.

 

Like I said, if I needed balls and were buying right now, I'd probably grab 11-dozen of these Muirfield balls for sure.

 

Ooooh I actually do remember picking up the RZN tour platinums and blacks from Nike.com for $15 a dozen. Platinum is a very underrated ball

 

I stocked up last year on the Nike RZN Platinum practice balls from Dunhams at $7.99/dz. which beats the previous best deal I have had of $9.99/dz for the TM Lethal a few years back.

If someone reported back that most or all of their Lethals were indeed DOT models and in similar condition to the Callaways pictured above, I might actually grab a few dozen.

 

Otherwise, I plenty of regular Lethals from the Golfballnuts mesh bags, plus I've noticed it seems regular Lethals shift from white to yellow over time much quicker than most other urethane balls... anyone else notice this?

My 12 dozen just arrived, and I had forgotten that I took a gamble on a dozen TM's. My report:

 

8 Dozen Srixon; all of them are last generation practice XV's which is totally fine by me; they are new and as far as I can tell none of them even look hit.

3 Dozen Callaway: all of them are Chrome Soft ++ and they don't look hit. I don't even have a scuffed one in the bunch.

1 Dozen TM: all of them are Lethals. They are beat up pretty good. Probably 2 balls I'd put in my bag. 1 of them is a 'dot Lethal dot' practice, the rest are Lethal practice. Not thrilled with that.

 

I'd love to know what Tour pro is banging 5 year old Lethals on the range at Muirfield....

Something like that. Honestly they are in good shape and I don’t think TM balls have changed that much in the past few years. Could be wrong just seems like they are all similar.

The Srixon XV 'Practice' is big. And a bold red that stands out. Def won't be hidden w/ an alignment line.

5dz tmag. All lethal but condition is very nice. Only few are scuffed.

 

Bridgestone and others are in better condition tho.

 

This is a steal. Will buy again next year

I think literally just the word practice. They’re the same as retail but have the word practice on them. I think it’s to deter the resell?

I'd like to amend my review for the better - My 8 dozen Srixon Z-Star XV's are all the most current model and not one of them looks to be hit. I wish I had gotten 12 dozen of these!
