Putting ranch on wings is an abomination.

 

Assuming it arrives Friday and fabb is able to fit in the new club work I’m putting a new 5 wood in play Saturday. As someone who lives in fear of the off line tee shot i always likes that I’d get the hybrid on the ground quicker. I’m hitting my long clubs more straight so I’m curious to see how it goes. I’d love to have a club I can hit from the fairway to attack certain holes at turf.

I'll be the contrarian, but as a late-in-life cheese adopter I still can not eat blue cheese.

 

However, a good buffalo or lemon pepper wing needs no dipping sauce.

I prefer blue cheese but the kids don't like it, so we usually end up with ranch. Unless we can get both.

I ordered double ranch with the Old Bay wings I had delivered on Sunday and then when my sister in law came over, she brought a homemade bacon ranch dip bc she knew my brother and I liked ranch so much. I actually like blue cheese too but ranch is the clear one seed in this pick pool.

Spend 2 1/2 hours at the range yesterday. Longest I have hit balls in a row in a long time. Feeling it this morning. Wrist and small of the back are a little tight. Went up and down the bag at least four times. Working on a bigger shoulder turn and tempo. Prepping for PH in a week and a half.

I don't really have the disdain for ranch that some people do, but I just love blue cheese so much that ranch won't be an option. And, "buffalo" and "blue cheese" just seem to go together.

 

I'm a big stinky cheese fan (not that blue cheese is a big stinker. I'm talking about camembert, stinking bishop, taleggio, your creamy washed-rind cheeses). When I make pizza, sometimes I'll try to spread a little taleggio on it. You get a little bit of "not-quite-identifiable" tang in random bites.

 

I wonder if dipping sauces for wings has been properly explored. Like, when I get a habanero wing (e.g. "rocket fuel" at my place, or "mango-habanero" at BWW), I'll get blue cheese, but I wonder if there is a better option. . .like some kind of white mexican crema thing.

Depends on the wing consistency. It was a shame they closed, but when Dinosaur BBQ was around they served dry rubbed and smoked wings. That was a great vehicle for all the various sauces or just stuffing your face.

 

Crema is pretty solid, but would need some lime or extra spices. It's always in stock at the corner bodega.
