That's strange. Others have stated online that they're not seeing it on their local CBS affiliate either, including Harrisburg, and ones in Northern California. I'm watching fine on CBS Detroit though.

I tend to agree though, they do seem to think he's found some "Dr Strange" type extra dimension that helps him play better golf. Like on that lag putt he just hit they were like (paraphrase) "there's definitely a benefit to having every angle figured out for each putt, knowing every calculation" etc....

 

It's like, guys practice putting a lot. They talk about him like he walks up and down the course with a lab coat and makes the ball move with the sheer power of formulas

Having someone out on the PGA Tour with a degree in physics is highly unusual though. These days a college graduate in any field is unusual on the PGA Tour with they guys turning pro sooner. I wonder what the announcers would say about a golfer that had a psychology degree.

What is it about watching golf as labor day approaches? Is it that the days have started growing shorter and fall sports take hold. Its like an internal subconcious sports clock that makes viewing golf less interesting by the day.

I actually like Koepka and DeChambeau I just hate how the announcers EMBELISH everything they do. Brooks is a fairly fit guy on tour and Bryson actually got his college degree. Nothing overly special about either in that regard. It’s getting as bad as the LPGA announcers.
