I've seen this on other forums.

 

Its called Google Frapper-same map. Its much easier to input your location just by inserting your zip code. It also allows you to insert a small image if desired.

 

I'm not sure I want to post the exact co-ordinates to my home on the internet. Too many goof balls out there.

 

Is it OK to just post a generic location?

You don't have to post the exact coordinates just put in your zip code and not your street address and it will give a general Lat/lon to your city.

Just tried zooming in on my marker...it's quite a bit away from my address? :tongue: I live in the northern part of Sealand, and the marker is in the southern part...

I saw someone from Kyrgyzstan!!! I saw a course in Bishkek that had goats grazing on it and they used hoses with hole in them for watering. But you can truely play golf any where in the world!

Yes, but you can't see any locations outside the US when you look at the map.

If you zoom out, on the bar to the left, you can see more of the world. You can also put your pointer on the map and drag it.
