Nike Clothing 2019

Huge Nike guy but they sure do make some weird business decisions. I've tried to place two big orders over the last 30-45 days and both times was unable to check out (the cart would have undefined errors when I hit "checkout"). Chatted with several people and they engaged their "Elite" Service Team for IT Support and never got it solved. Happened again today and I figured it out for them - when you add the 26th item to the shopping cart you start getting the error.

 

Here's my issue - I was using a 20% off coupon so I couldn't really place two orders. Their solution - too bad, you'll have to do one order for the 25 items and then the remaining items on a second order and the coupon is one-time use.

 

Trying to give them $$ and even doing some free website testing for them and that's their solution? Wow.

 

Told the chat person that I would pass on that and either buy less or go somewhere else but please pass along my feedback about the 26th item glitch.

Not surprised either. NikeGolf is basically non-existent on social media these days. To me, it speaks to the way Nike views it's golf division more than anything else.

I have a theory that Nike Golf will cease to operate later this year. It comes from the end of the 3 year tie-in period for their players getting paid their contract money for clubs but free to use anything as long as they don’t sign up officially. All the signs are there - reducIng presence (not even the UK Nike stores stock golf clothing or shoes now), terrible service and quality, no media presence etc. The only thing that goes against this is the Tour presence and spending all that money on top players - but what’s the point if you can’t get the stuff at retail (increasing amount of PE stuff which Nike never used to do, the AM90 contrast Swoosh issue etc). Anyway hope I’m wrong but sadly I see the end in sight ...

I cannot see Nike leaving the golf world, at least not before TW is retiring. But who knows, they have taken some radical decisions lately....

Nike has to be the biggest golf apparel company in the world I would assume but either way them getting completely out of golf is a blow to golf. Plus if under armor is surviving Nike has to be doing better but it may be more of a headache for them to stay in golf

In my experience they run a full size smaller. In golf I’m a large. In all their old RF stuff I was XL

I used to love the Mock neck shirts. I had every color when Nike first started making them. And a bunch more after that. But now I can’t stand to have anything on my neck like that, even when it’s cold. That’s why I like the Blade polos so much. Reminds me of a mock but have the freedom to unbutton the front.

Agreed. I give Nike a credit that they brought back the mock neck shirt but blade shirts are still my choice.

the new golf t shirts they dropped on nike are pretty good, especially the nike golf georgia one for the masters. just wish they did other colors than black and white.

I don't love the Nike Georgia or Nike California shirts enough to buy them, but I do appreciate that they are releasing this Masters themed stuff in plenty of time for everyone that wants it to get it before the tournament starts. Last year they released stuff at the end of the tournament and nobody was happy about it. Baby steps I guess.
