Nike.com basically acts as it's own store independent of Nike's overall business. They operate the same way as dicks or global golf or whomever else that carries nike stuff. they buy in bulk and resell so they don't always purchase everything because they think some things won't sell. But you'd think at least they'd have all of the newest stuff but that's not always the case.

They had some sort of sale when I was there. Extra marked down with a yellow sticker. It was $44 plus the half off, so it became $22.

That's good to know. I always just assumed since it was NDC, they would have anything and everything available.

 

Being from Canada and visiting in Seattle a few times a year, where are the best places to shop then? Or do you guys do mostly online? (other than Dick's and Global as recently mentioned)

Probably for the same reason they seem to sell a t shirt for the Open Championship that isn’t available on NDC UK. Although there is very little of the new collection available on the website at the moment.

Did you check out ProDiscount Golf or Puetz? There used to be a Nike store downtown but there are the outlets at Southcenter and Seattle Premium Outlets or even in Burlington?

People complain when they actually reference where the tournament is played (re: bethpage with the NY state park logo) so maybe they just said eff it

I was all for it because I thought the execution was great. Sure their was metallic foil, but people could’ve returned them if they didn’t like it. The safari print looked great and the NY parks logo was a perfect nod to the location. Honestly not much more they could’ve done.
