looks to definitely be a 2019 model “transitional” Madison with H1 neck. 
 

it also has a “small logo emblem” in the cavity behind the face as opposed to the large emblem from retail models

I believe these were Tour supply only. I have seen them before but I do not recall seeing at retail.

Well I hate orange so it had to go 🤣

 

I found two more markers of a tour issue putter while stripping it;

 

1) the shaft has crimps at the tip which are only on tour issue shaft installs 

 

2) the flange line seems to have been milled after the fact from a naked head as opposed to being in the casting of the retail models

So i figured i would try this 'red sight line' thing some pros are doing. I've seen it on a few Scottys like Hideki's and maybe Stallings?

 

Works pretty well. Kind of like it. A little weird.

 

Lucky for me I also have some blank Toulon metal emblem badges for the rear cavity so i was able to drill out the orange one and put in a new black one. I left the other engravings paintless for now.

Just picked up a Toulon Las Vegas I had been eyeing for a while. Love the smaller footprint than the traditional #7.  Only rolled it indoors so far but one thing I noticed is the face is not quite as "soft" feeling as my current Mizuno M-Craft V. Still feels and looks great, but not as soft as the Mizuno if anyone's looking for a direct comparison (as I was in the past).

From callaway but it wasn’t easy. Not going to go into how but you can try and call them maybe you’ll get lucky.

Brought this san diego over from Japan. Tour satin finish is unlike the ones made here in USA. I'll try to do a side by side photo as it's probably hard to see the difference...

CPO had JDM toulons last year and I grabbed an Austin in that finish. Was super nice. My current Las Vegas with that finish is a nice contrast to the black pearl PVD Madison I'm using.

I’m tempted to send my Las Vegas with the slant neck off somewhere to get this finish. I like the darker head, but I know it will wear in a way that bothers me over time with a lot of use.

That’s the one club I’m looking for- a milled face 7ch!! That’s a definite buy for me.
