Noice, academic "research" to justify a bigoted post which has nothing to do with Scott Hoch, professional golf or anything in this thread.

MMB!

The real reason Muricans don’t like to go abroad?

Nobody has any freakin ice!

You go anywhere besides the US. Be hot like 100* ( or 83 Celsius or whatever you guys call it) and they serve you a luke warm Coke with 3 miniature ice cubes. Ask them for ice and they look at you like you from Pluto.

That ain’t no way to live.

; )

Now this right here is why most folks approve more of the R&A's rulemaking and course setup over the USGA. Inventive, penalizing those who take advantage.

He's not a big fan of playing The Open Championship.

_It was his fourth straight cut made with each of his last four results being an improvement over the previous start. Despite the trending form, CH3 deciding against the long flight this week and will get a bit of rest before the final push to the FedExCup title. Howell III has played just two Open Championships since 2013 and both were missed cuts. In fact, he is just 4-for-10 overall at the event with nothing better than a T28 (2011). It's easy to see why he's skipping. Martin Kaymer is now the first alternate._

Im an American thanks lol. People generally don’t travel in this country, it’s a fact. sorry to ruffle your knickers. And the other response mentioning “pompous Europeans” thanks for proving my point!

since CH3 is quite a family man, I think he rather spends quality time with his fam.

Plenty of great family men on tour. Many of them are playing Portrush this week.

I like him but this is an interesting and revealing insight into his psyche.

100% approve of this. The proximity of the stands at this venue has made it even more crucial but regardless it's a practice/loophole I detest.

Anyone found a course guide for Portrush? there´s some photo guides like in the OP, but a normal one, prefererrably like the ones for PGA events with a flyover and a graphic picture of the hole top view? I'm almost sure I found one when Irish was played there a couple of years ago but cannot find one now.

Will the rain spoil the tournament?
