Love this leaderboard. I love SHP and Ariya, but would like a first-timer to get one. Thinking anyone not at -13 already will have a tough time of it to pull one off.

I still think it's anybody's tournament at this point. With two rounds still to go, and low 60's out there, we could see a player ten back make a big charge.

Conservatively, Sung Hyun will reach at least -25 for the tournament.

Assuming a hot hand will finish the weekend at -15, it'd still take out players at -9 or worse.

I think we are on the same page with your comments, my semi sarcastic post was aimed at those who jump the gun with player expectations, mostly media generated. The hype isn't always real. ( big discussion on Michelle Wie sound familiar?) Way to early in a lot of these kids careers to be touting them as the next big thing. I get it the media needs and feeds on topics, but for fecks sake, just let them do their thing. Sorry If I misinterpreted you post. I don't want hype, I want results.

Is this fun ? Why don’t they make the course play harder. I know these girls are good,but I think this is beyond ridiculous. I have been to and played on the same course they have 2 different times and courses ...once it was super easy and once it was slightly hard .

But this seems to easy for professional golf.

I'm going to recant what I said about anyone at -13 or higher would not have a chance. They are dying at the finish today. I would like the story of a Monday qualifier winning, but Tiffany Joh's post-round interview talking of Shanshan, and how "you could say I'm a fan fan" cracked me up. Hoping she puts a real nice final round together, while wearing a onesie.

Lol. Forest Gump would be proud. You just don't know what you're going to get at Thornberry. OK, Sei Young's record is safe, but how about a five way playoff tomorrow?

 

I know, I know. We can't make everyone happy. We're either kvetching about the poor play at the majors, or moaning about the low scores on these pussycat courses. I say simply enjoy it. The ladies are incredible ballstrikers, and when the greens are benign, (anybody say Wildfire?), they just eat it up. Of course I don't want to see it every week, but c'mon, it's a bit of a gapers block, no?

Really been a fun tournament to watch. Yes, scores are absurdly low but you expect that from this course. Yealimi Noh is the real deal. Picking Ariya to have one day where she puts it all together to close it out tho

54 hole event last week. Namdalla does not do well going on the 4th rnd with a lead.

Sorry if it offends, but i am going to continue to be excited by Yealimi Noh. Fresh faces are always great, and she obviously has game. Recent weeks with Fassi, Kupcho and now Noh have added a lot of fun, and a peak into the future. One aspect of Noh's game we know nothing about yet is her scrambling - for obvious reasons! lol.So I am not hailing her as a superstar yet, just a very promising talent.

I don't mind the tame layout. And the course actually fought back at the end of the day.

My tip is Ariya. It's been a tough year for her, but she is just sneaking her way back to the top.
