I'm a lefty so I couldn't get the m5 tour, but friend of mine has the tour, it was noticeably deeper to me.

Put it next to a R9 Superdeep or a Adams Driver & you will see what I mean.

You guys been talking about this deep driver, being a ping guy I never really heard of it, I mean I’ve probably seen it and didn’t really think about it, so I looked out on eBay found one in mint condition 8 1/2° with an OBAN devotion six stiff shaft for 119 bucks free shipping, doesn’t look like it was ever hit, it might be fun to play around with, mix it in with my M5. I’m hoping that shaft is not to stay out for me I mean I play the synergy 60 stiff in the M5.

As I noted.....$100 lol, just a fun club to have. Hey if it only goes a certain spot each hit, good or bad, I got room in da bag! But right now I got to get my 9&pw working. Like yesterday, 512 yrd par 5, M5 right up the gut, 9W to green, birdie, next hole 380, 130 out wedge right and OB. So embarrassing.

I come from long tradition of ping drivers, but gave M5 a shot with the right shaft. If you can low price it’s worth it, I love M5, but now I know the shaft I like, I’d like to see how the g400 performs. I wonder if the shaft in M5 will work in the deep face I got coming?

M5 shafts will not fit into the Superdeep. They Shared the Orginal R9/R11 Sleeve.

I'm in the same boat. Been gaming the M2 (2017). Leaning towards the M5 at a discounted price. Can't imagine the M6/7 will be that substantial of an improvement. Definitely not worth double the price of the discounted M5.

In a nutshell what I understand, High center of gravity, it’s supposed to launch a Ball lower, little straighter, where say a ping 400 type head lower center gravity higher launch, more forgiving.

Global Golfs parent company ran/owned the original stand alone TM Pre-Owned site. The discounts they had for us leftys were great. Some stupid good deals. Not so much since the TM site was absorbed into the GG site.
