I prefer the fit with these than the true originals that have that very wide toe these are a bit more slimmer in the toe box which look more appealing to the eye to me .

Sorry to hear they didn't fit right, but True has always been great/fast on making the exchanges.

Yep the return was super easy and my replacement already shipped. 
 

if you’re between sizes my suggestion is to go down. I have some True’s in 10.5 and other 11. I’m always 11 in Nike and Adidas, but for these Lux G will be going down to 10.5. 
 

They look and feel great so I’m excited to get my own size.

I have a pair of Lux Tours. They are extremely comfortable (more than the OG1.2). They are also easy to clean as its all real leather. Really nice traction too.

Just got my two pairs (white/grey and all white). Just when I thought TL couldn’t make em better they do. Super comfy right out of the box and fit perfect.

IMO, yes, but two totally different shoes in terms of fit/style. These Lux G's have more of an athletic fit to them and a roomier toe box.

Anyone have some feedback on the Ripstop V2? I haven't see a ton of mentions in this thread after the initial release. Looks like it has good (relative) tour adoption with Chris Kirk and Ryan Moore wearing them frequently. Comments on width, stability, traction, breathability/wearability in the heat, etc would be appreciated.

Have 2 pairs and have really enjoyed them.  Ironically, they have yet to be worn on course for a round of golf, as I got them in the winter and used them for indoor simulator rounds, and outdoors for practice (range, short game, and putting).  Most of my rounds are early morning and with a very rainy Spring and wet conditions, other shoes have received the start. 

 

Very light weight but with good stability - I have used them for working out as well.   My only gripe, the white material gets drity pretty easily and doesn't cleav very well.

Awesome. Any comparison to the Lux Hybrid? I think at this point, its a toss up for me between Ripstop V2, Lux Hybrid and the new Lux G

So the Lux Hybrid is much more of an all weather golf shoe and is one of the models I reference above getting the start.  Very similar fit and comfort.  

 

I have the Lux Hybrid in Black and White, and the Black pair was my Winter shoes that I wore when it was wet and muddy - cleaned up very well.  The whites are showing dirt too easliy but other than that would be my go to for 80% of my play (only because I have way too many other options in rotation to be 100%).

 

That is why I am excited about the Lux G - seems to be Hyrbrid that cleans up.

Never owned a pair of Trues before but I have been struggling with my feet and finding a golf shoe that fits me. I have a short wide foot, high arch and high instep. Ordered a pair of Lux G because I liked the style and I’ve now read most of this thread trying to understand fit. They arrived today and I wanted to give my first impression. 
 

I was afraid I couldn’t get them on my foot at first. Actually took a little bit of effort but once I got them on the fit is perfect for me. I always order a wide in Nike and adidas and these are the same length with a wider toe box than either of those in the same size. Feels more like the fit of a running shoe than a golf shoe. Extremely light weight. I’m excited to get them out and try them out.

I’ve now had a second pair of OG 1.2’s fail to keep my feet dry. It seems like in wet grass conditions that the booty gets wet and wicks water into the shoe. 

 

Kinda weird because I live about 15 miles from their Tacoma HQ and they should know constantly wet grass is prevalent up here.

I got my replacements today, they still have too much room inside, and I have to wear wide in most other shoes, these are roomy around the ankle, and don’t cinch down like FS-01.  I put a second insole in the gray pair, and they feel pretty good. Almost considering swapping for a women’s size, or just wear the gray ones with the insole and send the white back.

So I am in the same boat as you - all of my 10 pairs of Trues are 11.5 - and these are too big.  You can just look at the neoprene sock opening and realize that they are too loose.  Have called and a pair of 11s are on the way.  Talking to customer service, I asked if they were advising people to size down a half size and they said no.

Another sizing issue with True Linkswear.  Love the shoes but the sizes they produce on each model are never the same for all models. A 10 in a Lux Hybrid could be a 10.5 in a Lux Tour.  I hope someone at True is paying attention to what is said on these forums?

I wore the gray ones yesterday, they were fine with the insole, light, comfortable, wipe down easy, still not the fit I was looking for, sending the white back.

I received my pair of Lux G on Thursday. I walked 9 in Friday and 18 the last two days. I am very impressed so far. They're comfortable right out of the box and clean up well.

i scrolled back thru a dozen pages or so and don’t see any reviews of the OG tour - i wear a 12 in the 1.2, i find im Halfway between the 11.5 and 12 (11.75!) so just looking for confirmation that my best bet in the tour would be a 12

Picked up a pair of V1 all day ripstops used for $31. I used the old True originals when they first released and am excited to get back into a pair of Trues. Was super tempted to go for the Lux G but figured I'd dip my toe again cheaply before diving back in. Been in Ecco's for the past 3 years and really have grown accustomed to their comfort but their style doesn't really speak to me
