I've worn the Lux Sport now ~40 rounds.  Love em.  Light, comfy, and they appear to be durable enough.  I walk and occasionally ride so these have been put to use.  The inside of the heel has started to wear through and deteriorate, but this has happened on allmost every other shoe I've worn, with the exception of the biom h4 (the inside heel material is fabulous).  Although I have a plethora of shoes😷, I wear the Lux Sport when it's dry and Biom G3 when it's wet (mostly a.m. dew rounds).....and the rest are collecting dust!

Hoping to get some input on sizing. I am normally an 11 or 11.5 depending on brand and model. For example all of my running shoes (saucony, new balance) are 11.5. My adidas zg21s are 11. Footjoys are usually the outlier at 10.5. My foot length comes in at 28.4cm (11.18 inches).

Does anyone have any insight on whether I would be an 11 or 11.5 in the OG 1.2?

Edit: after speaking with the True rep on their online chat feature, I went with the 11.5 which has an internal length of 29.5cm based on JP sizing. This means I'll have about 1cm in between longest toe and the end of the shoe. Will report back if the sizing is good/bad/ugly for people to use as a reference in the future!

Any updates on the sizing?  I wear a 10 in FJ Traditions. My foot is 10.35 inches long and a 10.5 size in the Lux Hybrid has caused blood underneath the nail of my longest toe(next to big toe) after walking 18 holes(appx 7 miles). I have never worn a size 11 in anything so I'm wondering if their sizing is an outlier of all the other shoe brands I have worn?

There was actually an issue with the order and shipping so I just got notification of the new shipment yesterday... Will update ASAP but I suspect the shipping will take at least another week to get to me.

UPDATE: Received my size 11.5 OGs yesterday. Too small. It's crazy because I have never worn a 12 in any shoe. This will be a full size bigger than all my adidas golf shoes. Footjoys I am usually a 10.5 (or a 10, or an 11...), and my saucony running shoes are 11.5. I am exchanging for a 12, but honestly I am a little bit concerned that even those might not be big enough. Very strange sizing from True. But, at least it sounds like they are consistently fitting small across all models. I would not trust their sizing chart, and even the online chat representative told me 11.5 would fit after discussing my foot length and other brand sizes.

The good news is the OG 1.2 feels quite premium out of the box. I'm happy with the materials and feel, just the sizing is weird.

That's interesting, the OG's I have are 11.5 and fit me just fine, maybe a hair snug but never really noticed it.

The very inconsistent sizing kinda pushed me away from the brand a bit.

their sizing is all over the place. Have the same shoes in different colors and they are different size . Customer service is great which is the saving grace

@Warrick any feedback on fit of True Lux Pros? Based on comments throughout thread, we prefer a similar fit across the True lineup.

The OG 1.2 fit me incredibly well, as do the Knit IIs (1/2 size down) and OG Feels. Knit IIIs were too narrow and sent back.

True Lux Pro are 50% off today tough to pass up. Also, any feedback on fit of FS-01 compared to these other models?

I do not have the Pro, no clue on fit. I have the Lux Tour which fit great half size up from Knit2 and FS-01.

The FS-01 is my favorite shoe, wore the all white all season, except a few wet rounds with lux Hybrid, now have 3 new pair of the white FS-01 in the shoe bags, breaking a new pair out for Cali next month.

The Fs-01 just hugs my foot, so comfortable, easy wipe down, same size as knit2 for me.

i will break down before day is out and order the Lux Hybrid in white, marked to $143, and have $15 in reward points, so $129.

I also returned knit3, too narrow

I assume the OG Tour fit thr same as the OG 1.2?   I love my OG 1.2.  But kinda want to buy some of the OG Tour.

that said how are the Lux Tour? I kinda like the white/grey and don’t know how they fit compared to OG Tour.

I have the white/gray Tour, sweet shoes, went 1/2 size up on these and Lux Hybrid, run a touch shorter than FS-01, Knit2, plenty of width in toe box, premium shoe.

Matt,

I have the Lux Tour ,Lux Pro, Lux Sport, and the OG Sport.  I do not have the OG Tour.  The Lux Pro are smaller sized than the Lux Tour.  The Lux Tour are very comfortable. The Lux Sport are even more comfortable and the OG Sport with a fleet Feet insole are very comfortable for walking and are wider than all the others. I wear my Lux Sport as everyday shoes. If you go with the Lux Pro, you may need to size up 1 additional size.  If you go with the OG Sport, that would be my normal shoe size.  If you go with the Lux Tour or Lux Sport that would be 1/2 size up from your normal shoe size.  Hope this info helps you out.  I wish True would stick to the same size for all shoes but they do not.

I was good and held off from buying the white Lux hybrid, as the sale was to end at midnight. Of course I had to check this morning, coupon was still good, ordered.

I love the Lux Sport.  Fit is good in the 12.  Anyone compare the fit of the ripstop or v2ripstop?  I opted to say no to the sale as I do not need more golf shoes but I do need walking around shoes as my True Major,s are gonna eventually fall off my feet at the seems as much as I've worn them.  I tend to like the Trues with a bit more room as I can then add my own insert with some arch support.  The major and lux sport were both perfect for that as have been many of the old models,  Proto, Stealth, etc.  one of the biggest deterrent to pulling the trigger on some of these models is the fact that they mostly come with white soles and/or the fabric is prone to getting dirty.  I walk and am not interested in scrubbing shoes. I do however wipe them down after rounds and dona.dece.t job of keeping them clean and looking good.  I chose the grey sole/green upper on the Lux Sport and they work or hide the dirt.  I couldn't imagine the light color v2 ripstop.....I would assume they would like terrible after 1 round walking with any damp conditions.  Could be wrong🤔

I picked up the All Day Ripstops V2 after Kirk’s win. Very nice shoe. I’m exchanging for a different color but these may end up being my go to golf shoes this year.

I did the same.  The True brand is the only brand I've been able to wear for the last few years.

Looking forward to trying the Ripstops out.

Anyone using them as their "everyday" shoe versus just golf?

I have 4 pairs of Lux Sports, 3 pairs of FS-01’s, 2 pairs of Knit II’s, 2 pairs of Ripstops and 2 pairs of Lux Pros… and I’ve never once worn them to play golf.  Just wear them to work and everyday wear.  Eventually I may possibly wear them to play golf but why would I want to mess up my shoes and get them all dirty?

lol but kinda serious too…

Anyone tried to spray Crep, or something similar on light colored knit shoes?

Looks like True is showing off some new and updated models at the PGA show including a spiked pair of shoes.

A few of the Lux models look to be made a bit wider so this could be interesting for someone like me who likes their idea just wasn't pleased with the execution for myself.

Both of those definitely look more appealing than anything in their current lineup, hopefully the fit is nice.
