 I have a T3 and a T112 guy after round one.  Nice balance.

 

Happy to see JT have a decent round to start this. This is one of my favorite tournaments of the year and I will watch as much as I can.        Another pretty special nice blue car visited today? I'll show you. Did the Pea having my car doused by Bruno story start this azure streak? 

 

Just got off the course. I was asked to play with 3 of the grounds crew after work. Got in 13 holes. 4 over. My game was solid. Happy.

9.30 Club was a blast before it became bigger. Saw a band called EBN OZN there...a techno one hit wonder type band, saw the Ramones at a place called the Wax Museum that was a great venue.  But they didn't stay open for long.  I watched the Redskins beat the Cowboys in the NFC Championship game there also on a large theatre screen. What a blast! 1982!

and of course you would frequent this famous live music club as well. I worked for 6 years right across the street from it. I was in the Washington Harbor complex in a nice restaurant. We were right on the Potomac and folks could come by boat. Hey it was a waterfront, but the Potomac river is pretty nasty. I had a small single handed sailboat (a Banshee made in Northern Cal.) that I kept in the marina (on the grass under a tree) and used to sometimes take a Betty or Brenda out for a sail. We would be real close to the planes coming into Reagan Airport. I might have seen a bathing suit top come off a time or two when my passenger was waving  above to incoming Delta flights.

You are correct Pete. The live music seen was strong back in KB and LP's day. You would have rocked your socks off man.

Can't complain too much about my game of late.  I can say though that my somewhat consistent play has made my afternoons that much better out on the course. Lessons and practice if you really want to improve folks. This game is hard and it takes effort.

Nobody remembers these old school Reebok commercials. Back when Reebok had the contract for the NFL they used to put out these sick commercials for the pro bowl. Obviously the NFL quit doing that as Nike holds the equipment contract and the pro bowl is more or less a joke now. O well, at least this was a thing because it was pretty freaking awesome to watch.
