Callaway Apex and Apex Pro 21

I've cracked my 5 and 6 so far... Have had them about 6 months now. Both looked just like this. Replacement has been quick and free. I'm a lefty so supply is less of an issue so far. About to send the 6i back this week. 

I honestly can't really tell much difference with the face cracked, even on the GC quad launch monitor. If I hit the ball in the face that high it's a crappy shot anyway...

I do think they feel really good - better than ZX5, T100S, MP225 (I say those because I’ve hit them recently). 
 

I only tested the Apex Pro briefly so I’m not terribly familiar. Anyone who can elaborate on how they perform on thin strikes? That’s my predominant miss.

I’ve been looking for a set of left handed Apex 21’s on that site for a year and they just don’t get anything in. I looked at the RH and they had a great selection. Wonder if they will ever get overstock in LH of the model or reduce the new price.

I had T100 and 223s and these as good if not better .....not as good looking as T100 but way more forgiving.....hit 13 GIR's in a tournament round yesterday and should have been a couple more!!! 4-AW .....VERY content and happy

I am very happy with my "Mixed" Apex 21 set and they're way better than Ping's which I had i230 then i525 then went back to Apexs for good.

I use a mix Apex combo as well, but a little different and love them.

 

Apex DCB: 4i-5i

Quick story ......I've gotten 4 rds under my belt....first 2 were a mixed bag , more positive but just something amidst..... swingweight was slightly heavy at D5 , so brought to my club guy who realized that these must have tip wgts ...... he pulled heads , removed 10g plugs , replaced with whatever was needed ..... 

 

Next 2 rounds were a tournament round in which I WON!!! 76 with 13 GIR's on aerated greens with 2 three putts  ....won by 2 

 

Followed by another 4 over and 11 GIR's  on a much harder course.....this was a casual round by my focus was high .....love these irons.....lovechild of T100 and 0311T IMHO

So far I'm pretty disappointed with these, specifically the longer irons. The 8 through PW feel great and have a nice trajectory, the longer irons particularly the 7iron feels harsh. One grove low let's out a loud crack sound that's pretty disturbing, so much that I though there was a rock in the terf.  I've had the Apex Pro 19s with that "snap" sound but this is different. I checked to see it the face or head was cracked but can't see anything. I've played blueprints, S56, 620cb, ZX7,  etc etc but this is weird and the drop off in distance is astounding even though the flight looks good. I'm kinda at a loss here and thinking of moving them along. 🤪
