Bryson driver shaft - Atmos?

Seen the Bryson IG post paying tribute to Tiger last night, noticed the driver he was playing had a white shaft, looked like a Fuji Atmos Tour Spec. Anyone else notice this?

Cant really tell from the video - with his stake in LAGP I wouldnt think so, though. Maybe a new shaft for him in white from them?

Sounds like a prototype to me.  Matrix now LA golf is notorious for producing proto shafts for their tour guys.  I had a Matrix proto a long time ago that was a slightly tweaked version of the RUL shaft.  The only white shaft that LA golf makes now is the Tour AXS line.

LAGOLF seems to be a mess. Their site has been "under construction" for months now..

yea its a shame their marketing and website sucks. They make awesome shafts

 

Almost 2 years their "shaft selector" would only recommend a White Tie 50g R no matter what info you put in. ]

 

Unless you really follow golf and equipment, like alot of us here do, people still probably have no idea about the Tour AXS lineup

I'm inclined to agree. They haven't launched Bryson's iron shafts yet, which were supposed to be available for retail by end of last year (according to one of their people who replied to an email of mine). Obviously COVID has thrown lots of companies off but it sure does seem like LA Golf is struggling from an outside perspective.

I think it has to do with Oldenburg moving to Ping.

Yep.  I was waffling on the Texas Rebar protos and MMT.  Ultimately went with MMT because my guy couldn't get a hold of the Rebar protos.  Such a shame but I'm happy with what I got.

Someone said the shafts name in the Bryson Ltd driver thread I think.  It’s an LA golf quantum time machine proto or something.    Tron , Toto, Tito , also possible names.  But definitely LA golf.

Tour AXS BLU 60X. I can't find the spec's on it, I only have them for the 70X. The BLU is their low/low profile in the AXS lineup.

Bryson is an investor in the company, although if he wants it to be anything more than his personal shaft lab...they do need to fix the website and distribution.

 

As of now only DeChambeau and PGA Tour star Jason Dufner (who plays LA Golf Shafts’ Olyss model driver shaft) have become company player/partners. The amount of their respective investment and ownership remains undisclosed. Although the Covid-19 pandemic has disrupted businesses everywhere, when the situation improves Dickens said that the company will be moving toward announcing new partnerships with more players.
