Shot a 91 at a fairly easy muni course. Really not bad for me. Would like to get back into the 80's. Found a serious grip flaw and working on improving the accuracy.

Managed to get out yesterday and play a free round on my buddy for my b-day and I shot a new career record... 95! Sad thing was I left so many opportunities out there it could have and should have easily been a round in the 80s.

Played Bethpage Black for the first time. There were several holes(5,7,12) that cost me strokes due to the fact could have taken a more aggressive line off the tee (not hit thru the fairway into the sh*t). First time seeing the course i shot an 88,(12.6 index).

 

Almost getting an ace on 17(195 par 3) and sticking one 3 feet from on the pin on 18 and making the 10 foot birdie put was pretty sweet!

 

Looking forward to returning.

I shot a 69 yesterday at Diamond Oaks in Roseville, CA. Not a very tough course. I think it's a 69.5/122 rated. But I had 22 putts, 2 chips that went in, a 300 yard drive (wind aided), 6 birdies, and loads of up and downs.

Went out early today.. and I shot a 3 over 73. Went pretty well, solid at least. I'm happy as long as I keep playing consistently round after round :)

shot 79 on sunday 2 birdies 3 doubles, decent round for having a really bad hangover and 4 hrs sleep :) Par 71 6652 rtg 69.7 slope 121. 28 putts on the day zero 3 putts. I think the putter knows its about to get replaced so naturally its been on fire the last 2 weeks :)

Best news is the handicap is dropping fast Index in January 08 13.3 index now 7.4 after 3 pretty solid rounds the last few weeks.

I played one of my best rounds of the year today. Shot a par 70. Consistent on every hole, par on every hole. I was itching for a birdie.. but sadly never happened. Ohh well.. tomorrow's always a new round :)

Anddddddd...today we played a scramble, and our foursome shot a -5 on 9. =). It was a good day. I chipped in for birdie on a hole that I was actually trying to make, so it was a good feeling.

73.8/128 par 70 @ just under 7,000 yards. Shot 34-37 with 1 birdie and 2 bogeys. I hit the driver well all day, irons were so-so but I missed them in the right spots most of the time. Only hit 9/18 greens but of the 9 that I missed I putted my next shot 5 times. The two bogeys I made were missing short side from 150 yards and missing the green on a 215 par 3 when I tried to hook a 4 iron into a right pin. Didn't make any putts over 10 feet but the greens a tricky, no 3 putts either though.

 

A couple days later shot a season high 81. We decided to play the tees that are even further back than the tees they have rated 74.1/139 at a course I played for the first time. I'd guess they are probably rated around 75-75.5 or so but since they aren't rated yet I don't know for sure. I putted terrible, the greens were so fast and I just didnt feel like I could make an aggressive stroke with the Spider. Also, didn't hit a fairway until the 6th and it wasn't until 13 that I hit another one. Hit a few good short sided bunker shots to save pars but other than that not too happy posting my highest score in 3 years.

played a COMPLETELY SOAKED course (2 straight days of rain. don't even know why i was even playing hah) and shot a horrendous 87 lol. i probably got a total of 10 yards of roll todai lol. definitely doesn't help me since i'm a short hitter alrdy. 4 three putts!!! are greens usually THAT inconsistent when they are drenched? because some holes definitely seemed way faster or slower.

94. Irons=POOP. And on the front I sliced driver all over the g0&&@^m state...decided to play the slice on the back and proceeded to bogey out for a 49-45 total.

I have no idea who I am anymore....I am just as likely to shoot 68 and I am 88. Last Saturday shot 82 on a relatively easy course in Rome, Ga. Then I walk out Sunday on a pretty hard course I had never played and shot 68. Go figure. So for those of you keeping score at home....my last 6 rounds posted are 70, 81, 69, 84, 82, 68. Awesome.

WELL the tournament today went pretty badly. Have no confidence in my swing right now, which sucks. I can't make up my mind if I should just say "f**k it" on the course and try the 9-to-3 drill, or try to make a decent swing and just work on the 9-to-3 on the range. Any advice on this is greatly appreciated.

So it was an ok round. Bogey golf is DECENT for me I suppose, but this course is where I get most of my strokes BACK on the course, so if I am a bogey golfer around the GREENS, I will be in the 100s for sure. So that needs work. I hit a nice shot from a BURIED like in the rough. Played it just like a bunker shot, and carried it maybe 30 yards onto the fringe of the green. Will post tomorrrow's round up here tomorrow. See ya...

The most absolutely horrible 76 you could imagine. 34 on the front 9 and 42 on the back 9. 2 completely different 9's. Golf is soooo humbling. :swoon2:
