Callaway PM Grind 3.0 wedges?? Any rumors?

If anyone in here complaining about the lack of availability for past generation lives anywhere near Birmingham, AL PGA Superstore had every loft stocked in multiples except 64 this weekened. I didn't pick them up because they had PXi 6.0 shafts instead of the stock KBS Hi Rev Wedge shafts

Oddly enough the 19' PM Grind was great around the greens... Depending on how open the face was needed and was amazing around the bunkers. Only issue was approach shots that the offset where I had some issues with the look.... Created abit of a distance gap but the versatility around the greens made it worth keeping in the bag... Just had to retweak the lofts on my other wedges to suit my needs.

I just got a 54 pm 19 and bent it to 52 and 59 lie and it definitely helped the offset of it and it sits pretty square now and is plenty playable.

In theory, taking loft off increases offset

Callaway PM Grinds have more offset and appear slightly larger. As a generally bad bunker player I prefer the grind on the Callaway out of the sand. They are pretty similar elsewhere. Hi Toe was better than original pm grind for me on full and 3/4 shots but 19 PM grind was better than hi toe.

I might try to find a used PM Grind 56 and bend it weak as much as I can. Take the kink out and it's one of the best wedges I've ever used. My brother still has my 54/58 once I upgraded to SM8.

No close up pics but I learned today that the 3.0 PM grind is pretty pedestrian at best for about 6 holes then you get up and down from everywhere the last 12

I think it’s the 3.0. The jaws full toe has less of high toe and straight leading edge

I said it multiple times, but cant get enough of it:

 

Look at their Tour Player WITBs, seems like half the clubs are not retail, especially various driver models (which I guess makes sense economically) and the small grove irons.

Don't know if I'd pay the premium but if they followed they're Toulon design model and made small batch releases of irons wedges and drivers they may be onto something.

Is there an actual 21'/ 3.0 version of this wedge series, or were these slotted to be replaced by Jaws full toe?

 

It's not like anyone at Callaway could have predicted this win for Phil.  Just change the badge on the 19' to the Phil jumping 3" logo or a thumbs up and start production again.
