I might actually drink beer again.  Gave it up because I have to pee every 10 minutes after two beers...not worth the aggravation.  Give me a nice red and send me to bed!  Don't use that measurement device after you come out of the ocean not conducive to the wider girth measurements.

This thread has 19 pages currently with over 500 post's and a thousand look ins...... and we have yet to kick off week two of the new season.  😁🌟My word we are a consistent reckless bunch.  It is apparent that our ridiculous place is cherished by many of us.

I find that way cool boys. I'm grateful for our group.

Y'all have a good weekend with or without golf. I have a wedding for 225 tomorrow. The cake that has been cteated  for this event is a might special. I have been watching it's creation for over a week. Photos to follow of course.

So as I slave you guys smile in some way with  joyous participation in recreation out of doors.

I'm mighty thankful that I had an exceptional serving of very enjoyable golf 3 times this week.

Well, I am winning my bets on the online app. I had coin on the WFT money-line. Where that -4.5 came from I have no idea.  But I was not about to lay -3.5. I also had the over thinking the team is having trouble pressuring the QB and DJ was 4-0 against the Team. I went 2-0. Yay!  It’s Heinicke or the Hershey Highway moving forward. 
You say how can that be when you are 0 for 3, and in the family and NSA pool you are in the books with a paltry 7 picks?  No lines! 

 

Well, let’s just say when money is on the line I can make a putt to win a double press for the rent money, and still shoot a 103. win a all in hand with a pair of crap, And take the money line when all else starts crumbling around you. 
With nothing on the line the juices do not flow. I become lethargic and addicted to talking and not focusing.

Let’s start by saying the Ravens looked like a team that is dealing with injuries. Quality team, they will come to play. But I am thinking this is a trap line. All the idiots like myself will jump on KC and give the 2.5. 
So call me an idiot I will give the -2.5 and take KC -2.5 

Miami and Buffalo look like a great divisional game down in hot Miami, Buffalo got a little exposed by Pittsburgh last week, lousy run game and put it all on Allen, who has some accuracy issues going deep under some pressure. 
Miami has a top 10 defense as does Buffalo. 
You would think take the points and pound the under. 
I think that line is to tempting. Tua and Josh will find ways move the ball downfield.   Just enough big plays and a few field goals will punch it to the over. 
Give me the over 47.5. Miami/Buffalo

 

Let’s stay in the Same division and I will take the Mac attack to cover against the Jets who on paper look a little better. But New England might have the best defense this year outside of Pittsburgh

Picture three. Really, your wedding planner went with what looks to me as something Bob Guccione might have had at a catered event back in 1975. Not a fan of the main bar they built for the wedding.

Picture four. I am about to do my sound check. I have selected Rhinestone Cowboy by Glen Campbell. 

Picture five is of that cake I was witnessing being created all week. Heavens no it is not the main cake for the wedding, but an extra cake to take with them for later in the week. It took some amazing talent to create it, but I believe I would find it eerie to cut into a cake with the likeness of my fido.

I told you I would complete my recap from yesterday and will do so now. It will be brief though as I am sad.

 

In my round there was a double, 5 singles and 2 birdies. I shot 75. (par 70 ) and had a 3 and 4 shot margin of victory over my opponents. I collected original bets and handfuls of presses. This was a round after work that went rather well. 

 

 

I had wondered why my friend had not answered a few texts that I sent him over the last two days. We got this notice earlier today. Tim was close to my age and we formed a decent friendship as coworkers. We had fine conversations comparing the country today to what it was like in our time. He completed 20 years in the Army in the tank division most of it in Asia, and then he was a deputy sheriff down in his hometown of Greenville, Lindsay Land when he returned to the States. He took a part time gig at BFCC to stay active.

Even though he was vocal in opposition to some of my political positions we became pretty tight. Just a couple of old dudes that most of the young 20 something employees enjoy working with.  Tim and I do/did polite well. 🙂 

Tim did not golf. He was divorced and had one adult daughter. He worked with me on many of the golf group's checking in for the weekend this season. Though I only new him a tad over a year I can tell ya the good ol' boy from South Carolina had a very good heart. That heart gave out for good this week. 

 

Thank you for your service Tim, and thank you for our brief friendship.

 

I will miss you sir.
